LADIES, I TIP MY HAT TO YOU!

I want to thank you for surrounding me with love and prayers. I have good news for our little section of God's country. Our mountains are not longer in flames. That does not mean that the fire is over, but for our little city it is. I cannot tell you how relieved I am to again, sleep in peace. No longer afraid of the phone call that you do not want to hear. I have to give the Glory to God and thanks to you for all your prayers. I know He heard them.

In celebration of the afternoon news, I have blogged a normal day's post! PTL! This is a very small bit of my collection of figurines. I have collected these for years and it shows. I have every color you can imagine, they always put a smile on my face. I hope they do the same for you. This collection you probably will never see on Ebay. I was asked by Gwen, at http://acharminghome.blogspot.com/ , if I wear my jewelry collection. I usually only wear pins, and that only in the winter months when coats and warmer clothes are used. What I love to do, is give them with any gift or add them to my decorating, including but not limited to, my curtains. They make great tie backs and look great when added to the side of picture frames or on lamp shades. I have them every where. What is nice, is to have different colors so you have a large choice of bling. Anyone that has ever gotten a gift from me will always get some bling!

In the mist of this stress, I receive an award from Deb at http://debsanestingplace.blogspot.com/. It is a Lovely Blog Award. I will probably need some help getting the button over to my blog. Volunteers? You know me, I always need a little help from my friends. The award was just the icing on the cake today. It felt like God was saying, "See all is well!" Blessings to you my friends!

Great update! I'm so glad to hear you are safe. It still sounds like it is very dangerous down there for lots of other people. I hope they get this thing under control soon. A little cooperation from the weather would be nice too. I'd be more than happy to help you post your blog award. Just let me know if you still need help, where you want it and if you's like me to start it in a post for you. I don't want to get into your account w/o your permission. Hope you have a great day and your figurines are so pretty. I have also been the recipient of some of that "bling" and loved it!!!
