WELCOME NOVEMBER TEA PARTY!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 323!  Can you believe it is November already?  For me, once November 1st, comes along, life moves to fast.  Between family and church activities, it is non stop.  I need to have my Christmas up by the last week in November, if I am going to have any time for the added parties.  It will be interesting to see how I manage this year with my back so delicate.

We will be having three days of Thanksgiving parties, because of the size of our families.  Two of those dinners will be at our home. I get tired just thinking about it.  However, I must confess, I love it at the same time!

Today I am sharing this vintage Limoges cup.  Love the handle on this one.

This cup is by the Johnson Bros.  It is called Harvest Time, perfect for Fall.  I have totally change the home decor for Thanksgiving.  The earth tones are a perfect match for this time of year.

Here are some parties I will be joining.  I want to thank you so much for being faithful to this little tea party.  You are so appreciated.  Have a wonderful week.  Hugs, Martha

HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND TEA CUP EXCHANGE!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 322! Happy Halloween, always a fun time when children are involved.  Sorry about last week,  back was acting up.  Improvement this week and for that I am grateful.  I shared a few weeks back that I had joined "The Enchanted Rose," Tea Cup & Mug Exchange.  Today the group is sharing their treasures.

9TH TEA CUP & MUG EXCHANGE

The Enchanting Rose

My treasures came from Linda of Mysewwhatblog@blogspot.com.  This was only the second time I have been a part of a Tea Cup Swap and it was so much fun.  Just take a look at the lovely items I received.

It felt like Christmas, as I opened up the package.  Everything was so beautiful and it was all pink, my favorite color!

A lot of the gifts included hand made items by Linda herself.  I was so thrilled.  Thank you so much again Linda.   I love it all!

CELEBRATING THE BEGINNING OF AUTUMN

Hello my friends and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 321! Hope the weather has been treating you better.  It was a rough week for many of you and I am so sorry.  I missed last week because of back ache.  Today seems to be much better so I am  taking advantage of it.  Sophia had her Hello Kitty Birthday Tea Party.  She turned 5 and was just delighted with the whole event! The little ladies used demitasse  cups, a perfect fit. Sophia is the little girl in the middle with the cup in hand.

Halloween Costumes are almost done, Little Red Riding Hood is the only one left.

Today I am sharing these two wonderful cups.  The first is soup cup, it is double handled and made by my favorite company, Limoges.   The all gold cup is a Bavarian cup.  Both these cups are just stunning.

Have a wonderful week.   Hugs, Martha

OCTOBER'S TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 320! Can you believe it is October?  Halloween is just around the corner and then the "C" word,  Christmas is beginning to show up in stores. My Halloween decorations will be all set up by the end of the week, hopefully some costumes as well.  Sophia's Birthday Tea is Friday.  She is so excited. We went out shopping for a birthday dress on Saturday.  She will be 5 years old.

This week I will be sharing these two demitasse cups.  Both these cups are made by Nasco, Japan.  Notice the cute little bird on the first one.

Hope you have a wonderful week.  I am on  my way to the back doctor.  Here are some of the parties I will be joining this week.  Hugs,  Martha

TEA CUP TUESDAY NO. 319!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 319!  What a very bad week in the news for us.  I do hope you are all safe.  In Los Angeles, the Santa Ana winds are in full gear, which means fire danger is extremely high, always worrisome for me. I did find out what is wrong with my back, Spinal Stenosis.  I have both the Cerebral and Lumbar types.  There is now a plan to give me some relief, yeah! So what I plan to do, ladies,  is continue with the party each week and when I can't, you will know why.  Just wait for me, please, thanks.

I am joining the Enchanted Rose, tea cup exchange.  I am so excited about that. I have only been in one exchange, years ago put on my our friend Terri.  It was a blast!

This first cup I am sharing is this antique Limoges, demitasse.  It is this very pale peach color on cream.  I have a set of 4 different colors,  They are almost wafer thin.

Then you are a tea cup collector, it is hard to pick favorites.  I try only to purchase those I really love.   This next tea cup is an all time favorite of mine.  It is an Aynsley of course,  these pictures do not  do it justice.

Busy week for me, working on Sophia's Tea Party and Halloween Costumes for all the grandchildren and a few of the adults as well.  Here is hoping we get cooler weather.  Have a wonderful week.  Here are the parties I am joining this week.  Hugs, Martha

I AM BACK!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 318!   I bet you have been wondering where I have been? Well, here is the story.  It has been difficult for me to sit for a long time on the computer due to back pain.  Not really sure what is going on with it, but hope to find out next week.  I am so sorry for not getting back to you earlier.  I have considered no longer hosting the Tea Party, except for the fact that I would miss so many of you. Just not sure what to do to be fair to you.  Open to suggestions.

Just can't believe we are now decorating for Autumn. I must admit, the summer weather is never one of my favorite things. I hate the heat.  Being in a drought area, it is so much harder to enjoy the outside.  I have begun my indoor decorating.  I will be sharing some Autumn tea cups for your viewing pleasure :)!  This one is a Royal Albert.

This next cup is one whose signature I do not recognize.  It is all hand painted and very light weight china.

I will be having a Tea Birthday Party for Sophia in a couple of weeks.  She wanted to used real tea cups so I have chosen 12 pink rose design, demitasse cups, like the one above.   I was not sure that I had 12 cups in pink rose, but I realize that I had a few more than I needed.  I will make sure I take lots of pictures for you.
Both my little ones are playing baseball this season.  Noah is a Catcher and Sophia is in Tee Ball. Please pray for Terri, she is so very ill, as is my husband.  Terri did want me to tell you she would be back! Looking forward to visiting as many as I can this week.  Thank you for your friendships and notes to check on me.  You can see why I just can't leave this party.  Here are other parties I will be joining:
