BACK TO NORMAL ON TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hi Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 299 and my home a place where anything can and does happen.  Well, my son has had a better week, thank God. Things have come back to "our" normal around here.  I was having a new floor put in my laundry room and my $3500, stackable washer and dryer fell.  They fell face first and were destroyed. Of course,  the homeowners insurance does not cover dumb moves (I don't know why?)  So, I had to purchase a new set.  I am grateful no one was hurt, except a little damage to some pride.  God is good.

I have decided to decorate for Easter a little early.  I always decorate when I am stressed.  (I have been a decorating fool, lately.)  Easter is my second favorite holiday.  Love to use the lavender and purple colors. I especially love the little bunnies, they remind me of my youth. I am a Christian and know that Easter is all about the Resurrection of Jesus.  I just think bunnies are so cute. The first cup I am sharing is this English, Iris in a basket.  Great colors and delightful to use.

The second cup also features Iris flowers.  It was made in Japan.

My Granddaughter Maya wore her Greek Goddess dress.  She said she felt like a Goddess. She growing up so quickly.  Tomorrow, Sophia will have her dance recital.  We just keep our fingers crossed she will dance.  She does great, when she is home alone.

Here is this week's link and the parties I am going to join this week.  Please feel free to join the party and share whatever is on your heart.  Have a great week.  Sending hugs, Martha

CELEBRATING VALENTINE'S DAY ON TEA CUP TUESDAY NO. 297!

Hi Ladies!  Can you believe this?  I am on time, my Valentine Decorations are all up and all  in spite of having my laundry room painted and up dated.  I shocked myself.  Want to know the best part? I am telling you anyway, my son is better than last week!  Praise the Lord, he is healing with out the help of any medication.  God is so good.  He is even eating dairy food again. Amazing how prayer can work miracles. I can't wait until I can tell you that he is off to school and work again.

I am sharing pink, Lusterware tea cups.  This first one is a footed beauty from Germany.  Too cute!

The next is a Lusterware Mustache Tea Cup.  Don't you just love the fact that it is pink?

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays.  I do hope yours will be wonderful.

The painting on the wall was a gift several years ago, on Valentine's Day from my husband. It is my house before all the flowers took over.  It looks so simple and plain.  Now my home is filled with roses and flowers.  Just shows you what time can do with a  garden.

Have a great week. Below are some of the parties I am linking too.

Blessings, Martha

IT'S GETTING BETTER ON TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hello dear friends and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No 296!  I must admit before I get any further with this post, I have not completed my Valentine Decorations for 2016.  I am going to use some of my previous year's pictures.  I just running late, but by next week it should be all up.  I have taken the January decorations off.

Have you noticed what Google did?  Some of your followers will be removed if you follow them in different ways.  When I first noticed it I thought some of you had just abandoned ship. I turned 64 recently and the song by the Beatles came to mind: Will you still need me, when I am 64?  What a great relief when I found that I was not abandon, because of the year I have had.  Hope you have had a good week.  My has been real good.  My son is getting better everyday, I am just so thankful to God for that.  I feel like some of my old life is coming back.  I made a costume for my Princess Maya, she wanted to be a Greek Goddess.  What do you think?  I hope she likes it.

The cups I am sharing this week are both Lefton.  I really love some of their hand painted cups.  This first one has insides completely painted with large roses and the outside is gold leaf.  It is an amazing piece.  It is one of those rare cups  I only decorate with, I don't want to risk breaking this one.

The second cup is a pedestal, pink Lefton also hand painted. Just beautiful,  don't you think?

Have a wonderful week.
Please feel free to post anything you would like to share, especially if it has tea cups.  Blessings,  Martha
