TEA CUPS, NEW COLLECTIONS AND A GROW YOUR BLOG PARTY!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 256!  Hope you have had a wonderful week.  I am also joining the "Grow Your Blog 2015" this week.  Hoping to add some ladies to our Tea Party and make new friends.  I always love to look at other ladies tea cups and  of course their homes.

I am going to be sharing black and white tea cups this week, but before I do, I must share my new Royal Doulton collection.   I had never owned any because the price was just too high for my taste.  This week I hit the Jacket Pot! I picked these up for $14 dollars, unbelievable, I know! Each one more beautiful that the last.  As you know I have always loved the lady figurines.  It felt like Christmas!

Ok, on to the tea cups.  My first cup is this Royal Stafford, black beauty.  Very simple and oh so elegant!  Just a tiny red rose to decorate the cup.

My next cup is this amazing Foley from England.  The pattern name is "Florence."  Stunning isn't it?

I have been trying to do my first link alone, so far no luck.  I will keep trying. I don't want to not post, until I have success, please just leave a comment so I can visit. (I miss Terri!)  I have a couple of fun pictures of the grandchildren.  Noah has been very sick all month.  Please pray for him.  Like his Grandma, he just can't get over this cold.

Have a wonderful day.  Looking forwarding to visiting everyone this week. Hugs, Martha

WE HAVE A WINNER! HAPPY TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 255!  Hope this week finds you well.  Our home has been sick for most of January, but it looks like we are all finally getting rid of this virus, thank God.   As promised, this week I am announcing the winner of the Limoges Tea Cup.  The lucky lady is Deborah from thebeautifulmatters.blogspot.com.  If you are not a follower please take time to visit her this week.  This lovely, Christian lady has a great eye for beauty, tea and tea cups.  You will be a instant friend.  Deborah, please email me with your address and I will send be happy to send you your cup!

I love to decorate my home in White, Black and Silver in the month of January.  Crystal and Depression Glass is also a favorite for me.   This first cup is a New England Toile.  Love the black and white romantic set. It always seems to fit perfect with everything.

Another one of these black and white beauties is this Royal Albert,  "Señorita."  Look at the beautiful blood red rose.

The last cups I would like to show you are these stunning Elegant Depression Glass Cups.  Aren't they just stunning?

I am not sure if I ever told you I collect things made with wire.  I think this art is amazing.  Here is a picture of an Angel as well as a wire purse.  I am going to try and share some every week.  What do you think?

Spent some wonder time with all three of my Grandchildren this week.  Always a delight for me.  It seems the time becomes more precious as we look at the World News and see the terror that is happening all over Europe.  I want so much for my grandchildren not to live in world where who they worship does not make them a target.  I know that the Bible says this would happen, I just want them spared.

Have a wonderful week.   I just read Sandi's post.  God is so good. Give those you love an extra hug.  Blessings, Martha

A GIVE AWAY AND A GOOD BYE TO A DEAR FRIEND FOR NOW!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 254!    First I want to remind you, this is the last week you can sign up for the tea cup give away.  I will announce the winner next week.  Remember all you have to do is be a follower and leave a comment.  The cup is this pretty Limoges Tea Cup ready to be loved and looking for a new home.

This first tea cup is a Paragon.  They are one of my favorite cups as well.  This one has beautiful Mums all over.

Second, it is with a sad heart that I announce that Terri will not longer be joining us for Tea Cup Tuesday.  Although my heart is sadden by the news, I know that her priorities are right. She must continue to heal and as well as help her dear son do the same.  Terri is an amazing Mother and friend.  My life has been forever changed because I know her.  She promises to keep me updated and I will do the same for you.  Terri helped me when everything in my life seem so dark and she brought into the light and His joy!   I will forever be grateful to her for that gift.  Please stop and give Terri your blessings as she begins a new journey.  This will be her last post from her from for a while.

Terri  and I met about 5 years ago and as I have said many times before,  we have shared the good, bad and ugly together during this time.  This friendship for us all started with our love of Tea Cups.  Today in honor of my friend I am sharing a  tea cup she gave me that I treasure so.  It is a Paragon.  This cup is dainty and beautiful just like my friend.

Many of you know she is a amazing artist.  Terri has sent me things that I leave up all year to enjoy the beauty of each piece.  It also helps me to remember  to pray for her when I see them.   This is just one of the latest items I have been blessed to receive.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
While I am taking about praying, I want to thank you for the privilege of allowing me to pray for you every night this past week.  I know that some prayers have already been answered.  I did not visit like I usually do each week, because I was a part of that prayer group.  The pray requests has been left with the Ladies of the Prayer Group.  They will pray until, they have heard you have received your answer.  I am honored that you shared them with me.  Wishing you a wonderful week.  Blessings, Martha

CELEBRATING WITH A GIVE AWAY!

Hi Ladies and Happy New Year!  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 253! I do pray your New Year will be filled with God's Blessings for each of you.  January is the time of the year when we reflect about the previous year, maybe make some changes for the new year.  For me it is a time of closure and new beginnings.  2014 was a year that brought many changes to our family, especially my son, my prayer is that 2015 will bring healing to this home, especially to him. My hope, is to continue to get organized in my home, that my life will be easier because of it.

I always love to have a give away in January.  It is a time to celebrate 6 years of blogging and a way of saying thank you for following this little blog.  It is hard to believe that I have been doing this that long.  I believe I have been doing this tea party with Terri for over 4 years.  The first cup I am featuring today is my January give away!  Limoges is number 2 of the top five tea cups that are collected by ladies like us.  You know Limoges is my favorite, so I wanted to give you something that was special to me.  All you have to do is be a follower and let me know if you are interested in having your name in the hat. Drawing in 2 weeks.

The very next cup I am sharing is one I have coveted for a long time.  I know that many of you own one. It is a Royal Chelsea.  I love how the gold looks like it just melted on the edges of each piece.  So I don't have to name, names, I just want to say, I sorry for coveting you tea cup.  I found this tea cup at an Estate Sale this weekend. I was jumping for joy when I saw it was under $10, I had to get it. Could not help myself.  I am trying so hard not to buy any more tea cups.  To me each cup is a piece of beautiful art.  Sure hope you forgive me, (you know who you are).

The last cup I will be sharing is this Coalport.  It is vintage, as thin as paper and just an amazing shape. I will be taking part in a all week prayer group starting today.  If you have anything you would like me to pray for, please just email me.  I promise to keep it private, between God and I.  Sending lots of hugs your way!  Martha
