Hello Ladies: Welcome to Tea cup Tuesday No. 193! Transition week for all of us. It looks like I may not make the mark of finishing Christmas shopping by the end of November. I am not a big "Black Friday" gal. My family on the other hand, those crazy ladies, look forward to it all year. As we prepare our tables and plan our meals for Thanksgiving, I do want to stop and thank God for all the wonderful blessings He has given my family. Our family has been so blessed this year. My husband's health has begun to improve, my son got hired as a fireman, both daughters have beautiful healthy children, we love so much. I have a Mother and Father-in-Law in great health. Really God has been good to us. We truly have so much to thank God for. I also thank God for the wonderful friends I have made these past years on this little blog. You have changed my life for the better.
This week I want to show you a couple of Christmas Tea cups. Yes, I am excited that we will be sharing Christmas tea cups and decor. The first tea cup I am sharing is called "Cup of Christmas Tea". I have the tea pot and sugar & creamers to this cup. They have not come out of storage yet. Not the most expensive tea set around, but it says "Merry Christmas" with every sip of tea you have.
My next cup is a Copeland, Spode, Christmas Tea Cup. A common pattern, it says Christmas like nothing else.
I know most of you are getting ready for Thanksgiving, with family and enough food to feed an army. Next week begins the first of many Christmas Parties, for me. Before we hit the ground running, let's remember, first that "people are more important and things" and second "as Christians, we are called to walk in forgiveness." Two simple rules that will make your holidays a blessing. I have received a few emails from ladies who are really struggling with hard things in their lives right now. I know I did last year, if you want me to pray for you, please email me and I will be happy to do that for you. Your prayer request of course will be kept confidential. My email address is marthasfavorites@aol.com.
This weekend, I had a blast with my Grandchildren. Princess Maya, was perfect, always letting us in on family secrets! Noah was "active and active, (did I say active?") and Sophia was happy just singing to herself out loud in the restaurant. It was so much fun. The ice cream was the best! Our family was also a part of Christian Life Church Ground Breaking. Don't we just look so important? Don't tell anyone, but we took the picture after the Mayor and others left. Too fun!
Wishing you the best Thanksgiving you have ever had. Thank you for your faithfulness to this party. Both Terri and I so appreciated and love you.
Hugs, Martha
