STRESSED OUT IN THE FOOTHILLS!

I get stuck on little things when big things are going on. My lastest little trama, Thanksgiving or Christmas decorations. I have decided to skip decorating for Thanksgiving and go directly to Christmas. It will save me so time. I will only decorate the outside of the house and the dining table with Thanksgiving items. That seems to give me peace and I am all about peace right now. So that trama is over! (I know, get a life!)

I took some pictures of the first changes. The picture of orange flowers is going out and the Christmas scenes is in. Thomas Kinkade pictures look great at Christmas, so they are coming out! Did I ever tell you I collect Thomas Kinkade? Where does all this stuff come from? I have to sell more of it on Ebay! Remind me please, if I forget!

When I am stressed little things are hard. So please forgive me if I sound shallow, it is my way of coping. I just found out today, that my friend, Sharon, who I have know for 25 years is having serious heart problems, the doctor said she could have s stroke. She is going into surgery today. Too many sick, I just have to give it all to the Lord.

Back to frivolous, I started my Eeyore tree for Noah. It is coming out so cute. I will show it to you when it is all done. My living room and dining room is a mess with all the bins of Thanksgiving and Christmas all over. Plus, I need to put away the every day things I have out. I was in the basement today again, and I thought I heard something move in there! Jesus help me! My husband has a job to do right away!

I know this blog feels a little scattered, but that is where I am right now. I have also added a picture of my daughter, Monique. My dear friend, Bunny, wants to know what she looks like. Blessings to all! Martha

Oooh, and you have Christmas music!!! Love it. I am itching to get the Christmas stuff out too. We generally pull it all out of the attic on Thanksgiving and put the tree up.

Your daughter is beautiful! Hope your friend's surgery goes well. :)

Thinking of you, your friend and your daughter. Just do what you can do! I really don't decorate much for Thanksgiving - just a bit.

What pretty new blog decorations! Your house may be a mess now, but just think, you'll be all done with the mess when we're all pulling ours out. Then you can just sit back and enjoy. I have a Christmas Thomas Kinkade picture I got years ago from my parents. I pull it out this time of year too. Your tree looks like it's going to be lots of fun, I'm sure Noah will LOVE it!

Hi Martha,

that sounds great that you have gone to the Christmas decorations and now you have one less thing to worry about. The Eeyore tree looks great and Noah will enjoy that.
Lovely photo of your sweet daughter.
I hope all will go well for your friend.

Hugs
Carolyn

Dear Martha, I do the same things when it comes to so many little things at one time. Gets to be overwhelming and I feel like I can't handle any one of them at that moment so I just step back from it all and don't do a thing! I'm thinking there's not much you don't collect -- although I am quite sure you wish not to collect things that make noise in your basement. HA! How have you ever managed to find so many Eeyores for one tree? That will be interesting to see for sure. I just can't do Christmas now. I'll wait til December 1st rolls around. Blessings to you, :) Tammy

Martha, I'm starting on Christmas, I stress so about gift giving meaning I've NO idea what to get everyone. I so want to beat the crowds.
I love, love the orange poppies!

I love the pinecones and the Eeyore tree is adorable! I just started collecting Thomas Kincaid Santa ornaments - they come three to a box every month or two, and each Santa features a mini Kincaid painting on his robe. I'm planning to do a little tree in them when I have enough. They are so cute. I hope your friend is OK, too.

Please feel free to share in anyway you need to. I so hope your sweet friend is ok and that you can have a little more peace. It is hard to concentrate when there are big things going on. Your decor is adorable and I loved visiting! I have you and your sweet friend in my prayers!
Hugs,Lisa
