A TEA CUP TUESDAY CELEBRATION!
Hi: Here we go ladies! Our 45th Tea Cup Tuesday. I never thought in my wildest dreams that there would be so many of us out there in Blogland who love Tea Cups! Ladies I can call friends! Terri and I are still in trilled each Tuesday to see you all join us again. I have been busy getting my yard ready for Spring, Scrapbooking, and now, changing my tea cups around. With the exception of my family, these are the things that bring me some of the most pleasure. My weekend was very low key because, my son, Kyle is sick! He is such a little boy when he is not feeling well. So, he took a great deal of my time. I also, some how, hurt my back. Everything has been a little hard to do!
Remember my Google problem? I have not heard from Google, about my Chinese comments. I guess no news is good news. Before I start with my tea cups, I want to tell you one thing. I know you probably know this, but is was a huge revelation to me. If you look on your design page, and hit "Comments", you can see all your comments in a few pages. I did not know this, so I did it the hard way. (I told you I am not the sharpest tool in the shed!) So it took me forever to look at all my comments. (Bless my little pointy head!) You can do it the easy way!
Now to the Tea Cups! I am going to start with this beautiful, white, Wedgewood, trio! It has a lovely flower edge that adds to the classic look.
The next cup is a Old Elegant Glass Candlewick, trio. This trio was given to me by my Mother in Law, years ago. It is very precious to me. I have very little things that were hers. She truly loved me like a daughter and I miss her so. She has gone to be with Jesus!
This last cup is a Fostoria. It is part of the Elegant Depression Glass. I love the etching on this set. Did I ever tell you I collect Elegant Etched Depression Glass?
These are some of my favorite glass pieces to collect. I sure hope you can see the beauty of this cup.
I decided yesterday, that I was getting tired of white on white. I am a color girl, so it is I will be starting the transition into February early. The tea pot and tea cup at the top of the post is a FRANZ. It is the only color I have up it seems. Here is this weeks' Mr. Linky. Can't wait to see all your treasures! Don't forget to read post dated Dec. 31st for my give away! Lots of Hugs, Martha

I just found your blog. I'm not ready to join in your party this week, but am looking forward to getting something ready for next week.
Dear Martha,
You survived last week and we have all learnt a lesson, sorry it was at your expense. But they could keep us away from your favorite teacups.
Love the Candlewicking set. I collect plates and dishes in Candlewicking to mix with other sets.
Thank you for being the gracious hostess that you are and sharing withus each week.
We love having you visit at TTTT
Blessings, Pam
Martha, I love your teacups, especially the last two glass ones. The last one in particular with the etching is gorgeous! You have so many to share and we're glad that you do. Hope this week is better than last.
Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Martha,
Thank you so much for welcoming me last week, my first Tea Cut Tuesday. I'm so happy to have found you and Terri and look forward to posting my entry for this week.
Your glass Candlewick Trio is so simple and elegant, really appeals to me.
Hugs,
Donna
I very much like your teacups and what a precious teacup from your beloved Mother-in-Law. I can just imagine sharing a cup of tea with our beloved friends and family in Heaven. Why would there not be such delectable teas and cups to drink them in Heaven?
The clear glass and the white are a refreshing change from so much color and clutter of the Christmas season, but I can see why someone who loves color would be eager to bring out more color soon~
Thank-you for hosting this tea cup Tuesday. I hope you and your son are on the mend by now.
Oh Martha your teapot on the first photo is stunning! reminds me of spring and flowers and creek and meadows! butterflies all over! Your collections are all beautiful! thanks for sharing! have a great day!

Hi Martha,
I have seen those Chinese comments on several blogs during the last year. I am not sure what they expect because just a few ladies can read Chinese here and they are certainly not the right customers!
But now to come to your post. I am so sorry for you. Being hurt AND have a sick boy at home, is really hard. I hope you both will recover soon.
Your teacups are as always so lovely. I love the glass ones, they are really precious. But the top one made my heart sing. It is so springy.
Have a nice week.
Greetings, Johanna
Hello Martha - I love etched glass - I am fascinated by the beauty of it and the artistry. You do have a marvelous collection and I love you sharing the story behind some of the pieces and how they're treasured by you! I am switching a little now to more white - with touches of color - love being able to change things up!
Thank you for joining A Return to Loveliness - you've made it all the more special!
Kathy
Your collections are lovely, Martha. I love Candlewick and have many pieces given to me by my mother. They're so appropriate for any occasion. I hope your back and your son are feeling better.
God bless,
Lynn at Cottage and Creek
Oh I love the white! They are classic and simple...and so beautiful!
I can't believe there have been so many weeks to Tea Cup Tuesday..it's been so long since I've joined in on all of the fun!
Come by and have a tea with me, won't you dear Martha!
See you soon!
ciao bella!

Very pretty teacups and saucers! Love the rhinestones and knife rest and the pretty dish they're in, too. The Franz teapot is to die for! Hope you and your son both feel better soon. Bess
Hi Martha - I so looove how you combined your white teacups with your white bracelet and your clear teacups with your bling jewelry. They look pretty and perfect juxtaposed like that! Happy Tuesday.

Hello Dear Martha....Love the clear cups...sooooo pretty. Be sure to take photos in your garden. I have not done scrapbooking but know people who do it.
Oh Martha, congratulations to you and Terri for hosting all those Tea Cup Tuesdays! Love checking in. Susan
Hello there lovely lady!
These pictures are lovely as always dearest Martha!.., I'm so glad that all worked out and that you are still with us!..,(It's scary at times, but I knew you would be; God is so good)!
Although you are tired of 'white on white', I have thouroughly enjoyed this creative phase of yours and look forward to your colorful vignettes as well!
Cheers and hugs from Wanda
Martha, Your elegant tea cups are beautiful. I am sure your mother-in-law smiles from Heaven each time you use the tea cup she gave you. I did not realize depression glass was made in clear glass. How lovely to be able to see the designs. I have the pink shade of depression glass, but like my teacup collection had donated a lot of depression glass to Good Will before I ever knew about blogging. I love your header, even knowing it will go away soon. You blog is beautiful and I am following you now. I am completely new to blog parties, having just retired in 2010. I may link up to your tea party as well as Sandi's next week. Hey don't feel badly, I was terrified I would mess Sandi's page up by doing something wrong when I linked. Still don't undersand why the URL does not show. Sandi mentioned it could be that my URL is too long. Since I have met several "Lynn's" I will use my last name initial to link if the URL won't show up. See you are definitely not the alone in the toolbox, lol Have a blessed day.
Good day, Martha!
Your teacups are charming. You know, I think when we hear "Wedgwood" we automatically think of the blue and white collections, and forget that they also have lovely glazed items. I agree that your white Wedgwood is quite classic looking with the flower edges.
Your glassware is lovely, I do like the one from your mother-in-law with the candlewick edging, but I think my favorite is the FRANZ. What can I say...butterfly handles...how wonderful! And of course the pale and beautifully blended colors are quite Spring-like.
Thank you for sharing these gorgeous cups.
Have a wonderful day,
Marianne
Martha,
I love you tea cups that you have shared with us today. I love the candlewick one. I have a few pieces of that myself but not a tea cup and saucer! It looks so elegant!!
Thanks so much for hosting this party!!
Hugs,
Debbie
P.S. I'm sorry, Martha, I meant to also say that I hope your son is feeling much better, and that your back recovers quickly. You are such a busy woman and need to be in good health to accomplish all of your wonderful projects.
God bless you,
Marianne
Your Franz teapot and cup are gorgeous - so elegant. The rest of your teacups and jewelry is also lovely. That is quite a stunning plate of bling with your pretty knife rests.
Hope you and your son are feeling better.
Love tea, love cups, love your tea cups, Martha!
Have a happy Tuesday xx
Martha, I adore your mother-in-laws Candlewick. So glad to hear you now have it to treasure. And of course I'm loving your exquisite Franz teapot and teacup.
Hello dear Martha!
Your cups today are lovely! I do love the all white and the glass sets!
But...I love the one at the top the most!
So gorgeous! I know it's not our usual vintage look, but it is such a graceful piece of art!
Thank you so much for sharing all your lovelies with us.
Hugs,
Terri
