Hello My Tea Cup Loving Friends! Our first Tea Cup Tuesday of 2011. I am very excited to see what God has for us this year! My last post was straight from my heart to you. It is funny because I wrote the post thinking that only my regular followers would read it. You understand me and my foolishness. As luck would have it, I had more new visitors than I have ever had at one time. So the new followers, now think I am nuts! Oh well, such is life! (They would find out sooner or later.) I do want to thank you for all those wonderful comments you left! They touched my heart. I am having a give away this month in honor of two whole years of blogging. This pink cup, with the cute little feet and the bling are what you can win! So, I am not repeating myself, the rules on the December 31st post!

I have spent the last week putting away Christmas (almost done!) It is always a little sad to say good bye to a whole year, but we have a new one to look forward to. What joys will it bring us? Blessings and more blessings are my prayer! It was such a mixed bag last year for me! January is the month that gets decorated in White, Black, Silver and Crystal at my house. A big change from all the color that was used for Christmas. It helps bring me back to reality! White is peaceful and after last month, peaceful is good!

The cups I will show you today are my winter cups, (ok, white cups). Along with the white cups, I do add a little black & white cups too. My black and white cups do not come up very often so I am going to start today with them. (What other month can you use black & white, anyway?)

So, my first cup is this very pretty and different. It is a black and white with gold trim, Clarence tea cup from England. It has this great square, round shape. I love it, what a surprise!

These next pictures are of a English Toile set. It comes with Tea Pot, sugar and creamer, tray and cup and saucer. I love toile stuff, I don't use it enough. If you look closely, you will also notice the beautiful, white, Aynsley, Tea Pot! You can click the picture and it will get bigger. Noah was playing with the heart today and he asked what it was. So I told him it was a paper weight. He quickly took it and put it on top of all his drawing. He is just to cute!

The last picture I am sharing with you are the two white tea pots from Poland and the white cup and saucer, with sugar and creamer. Both these are vintage, Coalport. They looks like someone run the tea cup through a crinkler! I do have a lot of white cups to show you this month.

Here is Mr. Linky, you know what to do with it. Please do not put your stores on the link just post about tea cups and tea pots. We can do that other stuff at another time. Don't forget to visit Terri. She is amazing and always has beautiful tea cups for us to see. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha

Hello Martha,
I have to admit that white or creamy teacups are my absolute favorite - they just appeal to me. I love flowers and patterns and shapes - but give me creamy white and I am in heaven. I love your black and white - they're so elegant! Looking forward to a wonderful year sharing tea with you!

Hi Martha, you are such a breath of fresh air. Your previous post was honest and funny at the same time. There are 500 people out there who find you quite interesting. It is your sincerity and love of family and life that draw people to you. I love that you use all of your collections. I used to get so uptight when things would break. My boys broke a lot when they were little and Jingles has broken her share of things too. Now I'm like you and just say, oh well, no biggie! Things are just things. Wishing you a year of abundant blessings dear Martha! Best wishes, Tammy

Hello Martha! I love your new blog look. So very romantic! I also love your color choices for January. The Clarence black and white clover cup is so unique and lovely, I have not seen anything like that one before. And each of your other pieces are amazing as well.
You are a dear soul, and I appreciate you so much, for your kindness and your openness. This has been so much fun getting to know each other through blog land and sharing tea cups.
I hope you have a truly wonderful week.

Good day, Martha,
Your clover cup is truly unusual, and very pretty. The black and white toile reminds me of the black Wedgewood; rare to find and exquisite in it's own right.

I posted my humble little teacup today for your Teacup Tuesday; I'd be honored if you'd come by and see it.

I love the roses, lace, and blue of your new theme. Have a joyful day,

Many blessings your way,

Hi Martha,

Love your toile tea things! I always swoon over the toile. Have a lovely week.
