Hi Ladies: It is Pink Saturday! My favorite day of the week. Although Tea Cup Tuesday is getting real close. Can you believe all the ladies that joined us for the party? We know a good party when we see one! I even learned about white tea. The education that you are giving us about your cups is fantastic. Keep up the good work and invite your friends. Think of it tea cups and more tea cups! Yeah!
I do want to share a little more about my continuing trauma with the stolen identity. I have to be honest with you, I cried most of the day yesterday and part of today. I found out that the bank considers each stolen check a different case. I thought they would all be bunched together as one. But NO, that would be too easy! We can't have that! So I have began the long process of opening individual cases. So far I am at 42. I took a rest today and cried I felt better, don't know why, I felt better, I just did. Today, I went to see my Mama. She somehow made me feel better about it to. She just hugged me for a real long time. I needed my Mama. I did not feel quite so alone.
In the middle of my melt down yesterday, as I was learning that part of my Social Security Check was taken, I received a card from Sares from http://loveleightreasures.blogspot.com/. Sares wrote me the kindest note and that made me cry. I had been feeling like gum at the bottom of someone's shoe and the card came. Is that God or what? Today I received three calls for friends who said they had been praying for me all day on Thursday and just want to check on me. My Pastor even called to check on me today, just out of the blue? Or maybe that was a God thing? I think that has lifted my spirits tonight. People who just follow the leading of the Lord. You may never know what a call or a card can do to lift someone up, until you need one. Please visit Sares, she is so kind. She was one of my first followers, tell her Martha loves her! If anyone has any idea of what to do to stop this, please let me know. It is such a scary feeling to think that someone can just pretend to be you and take everything you have. So much for my pity party. I am done!
We must move on, after all it is Pink Saturday and all is well with the world! I am excited to see what you will be sharing. I am sharing some plates I have hung on the walls. I don't know why I don't show you them more often, I have one or two
(100)! I also found this big beautiful vase recently, it reminds me of my sweet sister-in-law. I have not seen her lately and miss her. So she might just get it in a gift soon. I love the big roses, they are hand painted.
Have a wonderful Pink Saturday. That's an order! Remember you are special in the eyes of the Lord and oh, yes, in my eyes too! Blessings, Martha

Hello Ladies! Happy Tea Cup Tuesday. This is number 9! Before I share my tea cup stories, I want to give you an update on the continuing saga of my life. Today, I receive a call from the police department in Florida, who had arrested someone who had one of my stolen checks. Good you say! No not good, this woman received my check as part of a secret shopper program. She thought she was being paid for reviewing the bank's teller. So now she has to defend herself from charges of stealing, when she did nothing, but maybe act a little unwisely.
In the mean time, I have found out that this is happening from China! So, how did China get my information? Only God knows. Now, the icing on the cake, they just got into my new account today, the one that is only days old. I just do not know what to do. I would join "Life Lock" but I have to wait until I have a safe account to pay them with! God help me!
Now that I have that off my chest, back to Tea Cup Tuesday. Normal things, nice things, things that don't make me want to cry, kind of things. The four tea cups I want to share with you this week are all pink. The first one is a very old demitasse cup. My husband brought this for me years ago. I bet he doesn't even remember. I will have to remember to ask him. I just love the faded flowers, it shows this cup was used and loved. The second one is part of my everyday dishes. It is a Mikassa, and it called "April Rose". All the dishes, as well, as the cups have this beautiful raised design on them. I love the single pink rose. The next cup for your viewing pleasure is from my favorite company, Haviland Limoges, France. It is of course a soup cup, but when I have had teas and need extra cups, I will include this one and always get a great response because of it's beauty. The shape of the cup is very different too, like a clover. The design on the cup is raised at the flowers, just stunning! Last but not least, is the pedestal cup. It looks like a more expensive English cup, but it is not. It is Royal Sealy China, from Japan. I love that the inside of the cup is fully decorated and that the saucer is open cut. I think it is just so dainty, don't you?
Well, I feel better, just talking to you about my cups. Thank you for letting me blow off some steam here today. Just remember to fill in Mr. Linky and you all set. I would appreciate, you putting our button on your blog. We had 26 people last week, I am hoping more people will see it and join. It is so much fun looking at your beauties.
Don't forget to visit my friend Terri at http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/. Her cup is amazing as always! Please say a little prayer for me, that I will stay sane! Happy Tea Cup Tuesday and blessings, Martha

Hi Ladies: Happy Pink Saturday! I know where's the PINK! Well, let me just tell you what is going on. I am sitting at my computer waiting for the police department to come. Yes, I am still dealing with this Identity Theft problem. I am now (get this) getting letters from people who have cashed my stolen checks and want me to pay for their banks fees because my stolen checks, caused their checks to bounce! Isn't that just icing on the cake? It is almost funny! I had my credit card linked to my checking, You guessed it, that is the one my beloved thieves have over drawn. I have zero money right now, because even my savings has been stolen. I been working with 4 different agencies and they all have their own paper work and each do something different. I am meeting with another detective Tuesday. Today, I couldn't remember what street I live on or how to spell my last name. Did I mention I still have people trying to cash my checks? I have closed my account and 4 checks, each for over $3,000 have been cashed. I would cry, but not sure that would do any good right now. So here I sit, trying to do something normal, as I wait. Please pray for me. Pray that I am not responsible for any of the charges or checks and that this just stops. Oh, yes I could use some money, so pray my Ebay does well. My Paypal account seems to be ok. Also I get my check deposited at the end of the month to my bank so, pray that it is safe. Otherwise, I just do not know what I will do. I am going to remove the money it as soon as I get it. If that doesn't work, well ladies I may have to travel to each of your homes as a house guest for a full month! I promise, you' ll hardly know I am there. If you just leave food at the door and two extra soft pillows for the bed, I'll just be like church mouse in your house. LOL!
In keeping with the spirit of the day, (not sure what spirit it is, oh yes Pink Saturday) I want to show you some pretty plates I recently purchased at the Thrift store for 50 cents. Did I ever tell you I collect dessert plates? I love fancy dessert plates. A couple weeks ago, I found these at my favorite store and I just could not pass them up. They are Aynsley, Staffordshire. Coal port and Royal Doulton. I really scored that day. I think they are so pretty! When I thought of them, it made me smile. (Oh, remember Martha when, life was simple and you weren't at the police station all the time?) Those were the days my friend, I thought they would never end . . .
Ladies, my God is still on the Throne and I know this too will pass. (I just wish it would hurry up!)
Please don't forget Tea Cup Tuesday. We had 26 people last week. Did you see the amazing cups? We are having a lot of fun and I really would like you to play. We hope to have Mr. Linky up by Monday! Blessings and Hugs, Martha

Hello Ladies: I have some wonderful news! My daughter, Vanessa, test came back normal. Apparently, the first test was an error. Two weeks of worrying for an error! I think I will prefer to think of it as a miracle instead of an error! I am so grateful for all your prayers. Thank you very much. I am still trying to fix my STOLEN IDENTITY problems, however, I am not as stressed about it as I was. As of today, my checking account alone, is overdrawn $887,350.63. This is the first time my bank has allowed me to see my accounts since Tuesday. Please pray I am not liable for any of it. Thanks!
Back to the good news, it is our 8th Tea Cup Tuesday. We had twenty ladies join us last week. The cups you shared were stunning. I can't wait to see what you are going to do this week. I am sharing only three cups this week. I am a little short of time. The first one is a yellow depression glass, demitasse cup. It is very cute and so dainty. Yellow depression glass is not as easy to find around here so I grab them when I see them. I think the yellows almost look like crystal instead of depression glass.
The next one is really a soup cup, I just love it because it is hand painted and it has double handles. It is made by Pope-Gosser China of USA. I looked on Ebay for other Pope-Gosser and I did not see any other hand painted items at all. So, I may have a rare piece, which is always nice. Mine is signed by the artist.
My last cup is a Stanley of England, which is Charles Amison China, Staffordshire, England. This one rates as high on my favorite list, simply because I love to see large roses on tea cups. They are harder to find, most of the rose tea cups have the smaller roses. Don't get me wrong, I love those too, I just love the larger roses a bit more. I do not know if you can see it clearly, but it has a pale pink center. It is just stunning.
In order to play all you have to do is fill out Mr Linky and it does the rest. It does not matter what time you do it, just please share your beauties!
Don't forget to visit Terri, my partner in this adventure. She is on the prayer list and still in need of prayer. Her address is http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/. Please let me know if you want to be added to the prayer list.

Hello Ladies: Happy Pink Saturday! I have a lot to share, including some very pretty pinks. I do want to tell you what has been going on my life this week. On Tuesday afternoon, my identity as stolen. Someone had made copies of my checks and where cashing them all around the country. Coast to coast, in 48 hours, my all accounts were being violated. Some sweet heart even scheduled an "open house" for the sale of my home. It was a nightmare, that I think I have finally stopped. If that is not enough, we still have not heard back from a very serious test my daughter, Vanessa, took over a week ago. (Stress!) I also had a serious test done yesterday, still trying to find out why I am so dizzy. My Noah got sick this week, and the air conditioner broke down in my car. My son's car got towed. Welcome to a day in the life. All I can say is " I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continuously be in my mouth!" Wow, it has been an very interesting week of challenges to say the least!
So ladies, on that note, I think I will share some Pink Saturday items. I did change things around my home this week. I had to stay home to keep anyone from selling it while I was away. I visited Beth at http://thegypsyfish.blogspot.com/. In case you did not know, she does a Silver Sunday, I may just join soon. I have recently really be interested in Sterling Silver. I am trying to find out if any of my silver ware is valuable.
I never studied silver, so there is a lot to learn. Her followers are amazing. They freely share information on how to care for, and what to look for, when purchasing antique silver. If you have a little time, it is very interested reading. Very amazing ladies!
Any way, the pinks I am sharing are on a side table in the living room. I just love the rose tea cup. I had other pieces to this set, but I broke them. There are some pretty paper weights. Did I ever tell you I collect paper weights? Well, you guessed it I do. I have some in every color, but my favorites are always the ones with the pinks. (Surprise!) I should do a post just on them one day. Please take your time and look around. I am keeping the prayer list up for a while longer so, please feel free to let me know if you want to be added.
Did you notice the large picture of the lady drinking tea? That was a gift from my hubby. It is one of my favorites things, but it is so hard to photograph. I hope you can get an idea of it's beauty. I think it is so wonderful that everything in my house has a story. That may be part of my problem, but let's not discusses this now. I am feeling pretty good, and it was a hard week.
Of course, don't forget Tea Cup Tuesday! Mr. Linky will go up on Monday and we want lots of ladies playing. Weren't the cups amazing this last week? I can't wait to see what you are going to share next. Remember you are loved! Blessings, Martha

Hello Ladies: It is once again Tea Cup Tuesday, yeah! I love looking at all your cups. I think so far the ones I could like to collect the most are, the Shelley Cups. I am going to keep an eye out for them. However, each week you surprise me with new beauties! I can't wait to see what you are going to do this week.
As for me, I will be sharing 4 different cups. The first is an all gold cup, Bavaria, Germany. Everything is gold, including the saucer. I have had it for a long time, so who knows where it came from, but I think it is so pretty. The next one is a Castleton China, called "Sunnyvale". It is a demitasse and has a pedestal bottom. I have quite a few of the Castleton China cups, each one is so different and pretty. You will get to see them all soon. The next one is a bowl cup, by my favorite marker, Haviland Limoges, France. It is so beautiful, with small dainty roses. I forgot how much I liked this one. (I know, they are just cups! Get a clue, Martha!) Sharing tea cups makes me want to go to Ebay, if you know what I mean. The last cup is a Lefton, hand painted pedestal cup in pale yellow. It is also one of my favorites. I said that already didn't I? The roses are stunning on this cup. Cups are my favorites collectible!! What is that old saying? " I never met a cup I didn't like! LOL! Therapy, I know! They are so fun to look at! Don't forget to visit Terri at http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/. Terri is the brains of this outfit!
All you have to do to play, is fill in the box and Mr. Linky does the rest! Thank you so much for joining the fun!
Once again, I want to add my list of prayer requests. Please let me know, if you need to be added to the list.
