HAPPY PINK SATURDAY TO ALL

Hello Ladies: Happy Pink Saturday! I have a lot to share, including some very pretty pinks. I do want to tell you what has been going on my life this week. On Tuesday afternoon, my identity as stolen. Someone had made copies of my checks and where cashing them all around the country. Coast to coast, in 48 hours, my all accounts were being violated. Some sweet heart even scheduled an "open house" for the sale of my home. It was a nightmare, that I think I have finally stopped. If that is not enough, we still have not heard back from a very serious test my daughter, Vanessa, took over a week ago. (Stress!) I also had a serious test done yesterday, still trying to find out why I am so dizzy. My Noah got sick this week, and the air conditioner broke down in my car. My son's car got towed. Welcome to a day in the life. All I can say is " I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continuously be in my mouth!" Wow, it has been an very interesting week of challenges to say the least!

So ladies, on that note, I think I will share some Pink Saturday items. I did change things around my home this week. I had to stay home to keep anyone from selling it while I was away. I visited Beth at http://thegypsyfish.blogspot.com/. In case you did not know, she does a Silver Sunday, I may just join soon. I have recently really be interested in Sterling Silver. I am trying to find out if any of my silver ware is valuable.
I never studied silver, so there is a lot to learn. Her followers are amazing. They freely share information on how to care for, and what to look for, when purchasing antique silver. If you have a little time, it is very interested reading. Very amazing ladies!

Any way, the pinks I am sharing are on a side table in the living room. I just love the rose tea cup. I had other pieces to this set, but I broke them. There are some pretty paper weights. Did I ever tell you I collect paper weights? Well, you guessed it I do. I have some in every color, but my favorites are always the ones with the pinks. (Surprise!) I should do a post just on them one day. Please take your time and look around. I am keeping the prayer list up for a while longer so, please feel free to let me know if you want to be added.

Did you notice the large picture of the lady drinking tea? That was a gift from my hubby. It is one of my favorites things, but it is so hard to photograph. I hope you can get an idea of it's beauty. I think it is so wonderful that everything in my house has a story. That may be part of my problem, but let's not discusses this now. I am feeling pretty good, and it was a hard week.

Of course, don't forget Tea Cup Tuesday! Mr. Linky will go up on Monday and we want lots of ladies playing. Weren't the cups amazing this last week? I can't wait to see what you are going to share next. Remember you are loved! Blessings, Martha

Dear Martha: I am so deeply sorry your week has been so horrible. How could any person be so mean as to steal your identity? How did they get your checks, Martha? This was very scary to read. I'm so sorry your family is going through some very rough times. "THIS, TOO, SHALL PASS." It seems like you are being sorely tested. You are in my prayers.

Martha, the painting is gorgeous. Can you try photographing it during the day with no flash? I'd like to see it more clearly.

Your paperweights are so pretty. Check February 10 on my blog to see a post on my paperweight collection!

Okay, Martha, take care. Did you get my e-mail? I wanted to know if you had the http jargon for your Teacup Tuesday button. I want, so much, to be able to copy it and put it on my blog. Please let me know. THANKS. Sincerely, Susan

Good Lord Martha, you have been through the RINGER this week. How horrible about the identity theft. I hope you get things resolved and they don't drag out for you. I also pray you get good test results, for you and your daughter. Waiting is always the hardest thing.
Thank you for once again sharing your beautiful pinks and take care of yourself sweetie.

God Bless you for all you are going through.

My pocketbook was stolen a few years ago at work and even though I noticed it gone probably within 15 minutes of when it was taken and I never lost any money (only one debit transaction made but bank credited back to me right away) I went through a bad few months of calling two banks everyday, closing and reopening bank a/c, rekeying our house and my car (Had to get car towed to Honda since both of my computerized car keys were in the purse stolen. I was out about $400 on this deal (rekeying house, new ignition in my car to refit new keys, etc. I thought all this was bad. I really do feel for you on what you are going through with your identity, and to have undianosed dizziness at same time.. Just God Bless you over and over and over, I will keep my prayers directed to you. Have you had ears checked? Dizziness could be inner ear affliction. My uncle recently was in hospital a few days (bad dizziness). Took a few days for his ears to be diagnosed as problem. He is better now.

I love your post and thanks for visiting my blog.

Martha. I have so many things to say. First of all I can not imagine someone taking my identity. Yes I would have felt violated and frustrated to say the least. I hope that you and your family are feeling better and get through everything. Next I wanted to say a proper hello and welcome to my blog. I hope that when you stop over for a visit that I can help brighten up your day a little, at least entertain you and make you smile. Have a blessed day. Take a deep breath and remember that things do get better.
