ALREADY GIVING THANKS ON TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 247!  To say it has been a long, hard few months is an under statement.  However, I can finally see the light at the end of a very long tunnel.  My son has had two great days!  I am so grateful for small steps.  It has been hard to think about anything else but him.  I thank God first, then each of you for all the prayers sent our way.  I had one dear friend say, she has his name on her refrigerator, so she would not forget to pray for him. Some of you have shared your struggles of panic disorders and more.  You do not realize how sharing your struggles has helped me.  It is good to know others, have had the victory.  You are truly an amazing blog family. If I think about your prayers too much, it will make me cry and I am in a great mood today.

How many of you had heard someone say "Why are people decorating for Christmas so early?"  That question is always followed by "We have not even celebrated Thanksgiving yet!"  I am one of those people this year. It is true, I just pulled out my Christmas tree box.    In the next few days, it will go up.  I am sorry, but other than doctor's appointments, I have just been home bound.  So here I am, listening to Christmas music two weeks before Thanksgiving.

So to throw you all off, and really because it was easy, I am sharing pink cups.  All my cups this week are Theo. Havilland, Limoges, France.  At first glance, they look so similar,  however, if you look closely, you will see each is a beauty all on it's own.

If you have followed this blog for very long at all, you know I have a love of all things Limoges.  These tea cups are a small example of why.  As you take a close look of each cup, you will see each has a different flower.  I do not know the names of any of the patterns. I simple just love the beauty of Limoges.

I hope you all have simple and easy plans for Thanksgiving, filled with love ones.  Thank you so much for your continued prayers for Terri and her son.  He had a very hard week, but is improving.  Thank you again, for remembering my son in prayer as well. If no one has told you that you are wonderful today, consider yourself told.  Sending hugs your way,  Martha

I did not know about your son needing prayer and prayed for him as soon as I read your post. The tea cups are each lovely, and I like the golden bow pin too.

Hello Martha. I am glad that there have been some good days and may more be on the way. I also love Limoges. There are so many variation of their dainty pink floral patterns.

Hi Martha,
I'm glad your son has had a couple of good days. Bless his heart! I pray they will become many more. Prayer changes things.
I love all your teacups this week. They are all so dainty and delicate looking that one couldn't help but love them. We Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October so we get to decorate for Christmas early. And I think it's wonderful when the stores put up their finery for the holidays. There isn't a happier time of year and the music is simply magical. I love it all! Thank you for hosting and have a fabulous week, my friend.

Blessings,
Sandi

God does answer prayer, and I am thankful He has answered your prayers with healing. Our God truly is an awesome God !

I do see why Limoges teacups are your favorite. They are delicately beautiful without the frills, and without being glaring. Simple, elegant, beautiful. I also think they must be very easy to sip tea from.

Thank-you again Martha for hosting this blog event.

So sorry to hear your son isn't well, but glad he is improving! It's always extra hard when a loved one takes ill around the holidays. :(

Martha, I am praying your sons continues to do good. God is faithful and hears our prayers. I am thankful for all my blogging friends that have prayed for my husband and myself this year, it sure helped get us through hard days. I love your teacups and the pins are really pretty.

Pretty pink teacups suit any season I think just because they are so feminine looking.
Since our Thanksgiving was long ago, I have done all my Christmas decorating yesterday and today except for my table top tree. I too have the Christmas tunes playing while it's lightly snowing again.
There are those who don't believe in prayers from others across the miles but I'm sure God directs them to the ones in need. I hope your son continues to get better.

Limoge china is generally so dainty and your cup and saucer is a perfect example. Glad to hear things are better with your son!

As usual you use some of the most beautiful china ware. I have missed posting over the past month or so, due to two collies. Our 12 year old got very ill and would have passed if out Vet did not love collies and monitered her for three week and we also became owners of a 10 week old puppy that has taken almost all of our time and energy. I will start more posts as I recover from fatigue.

Your tea cups are lovely as Limoges always is. I agree that it is somehow too early to decorate for christmas. But we have to prepare for it because time is running so fast. Thank you for sharing and hosting this sweet tea event.
Best greetings, Johanna
P.S. Terri would have loved my today*s tea post!
