TEA CUPS, SCRAPBOOKS AND ESTATE SALE FINDS!

Welcome Tea Cup Tuesday No. 175! Our summer is going by so fast. Before I share some tea cups, I would like to show you a baby scrapbook I just finished. I made this fun book for my nephew, who will be having his first baby this month. It includes some pre-baby pictures as well as room for new ones. This is my fourth scrapbook in 2 months, I have been on a roll. I have just started a new one today. I am working on Christmas gifts, and at the same time, clearing out photos.

This week end while I was out and about, I found the most beautiful coffee table. Although I love the coffee table I have, it is too large. This is the second one I have purchased for this spot, however, my daughter took the other one and now she is taking my old Queen Anne for her future home. This new table is about 1 1/2' shorter and fits so much better. It was a steal. I am so pleased with how it looks. What do you think?

Now for the tea cups. This first one is one from Italy. It is hand blown and painted, so very pretty.

Cup No. 2 is a Royal Albert. Pattern name is "Forget Me Not."

The last cup I want to share is a Mikasa. It is one of my favorite china makers. It is strong and very practical. The pattern name is "Arbor Terrace Bloom."

Had to show you a picture of Sophia and I. She just wanted her Grandma. Can you tell how much I am enjoying her? I was so tempted to photoshop my wrinkles off. They are what they are. I feel so much younger than what I look like. :) Have a wonderful week. Terri and I look forward each week to visiting all the wonderful places you take us too. I am so early, not sure why! Blessings, Martha

Hi Martha. Hope everything is better now. Wow, what wonderful teacups and this special gift is truly a keepsake. I'm sure it will be loved. How sweet and kind of you. Just goes to show what kind of person you are. As for how you look, you look great to me. No need to remove wrinkles because you don't have any. You also have a smile on your face which means you are truly happy and that's all that matters. Beautiful cups, excellent post. Take care and thank you.

Hello dear Martha...Loved the coffee table. That was a real beauty.

And of the cups, the Italian one is my fave. SOOOOOO gorgeous.

As for the "abuelita," she's beautiful, too. I didn't see a SINGLE WRINKLE. Honest to God. You look beautiful with that darling little angel getting all the love in your heart. Who could ask for more? Susan

Hi Martha! Lovely selections today - but that scrapbook! Wow - teacup artists are one thing, but you have quite outdone yourself - and them - with your family keepsake made by hand! A treasure to be sure. Love the forget-me-not cup - I have a small collection of them from different makers.
Joy!

Dear Martha,
as alwys, a stunning collection of tea cups. That Italian one is really a special thing. So interesting to see the different types of tea cups. Your idea to photoshop the wrinkles made me laughing. When I see this sweet picture I don't realize wrinles, but I see the luck in your face. That's what makes your personality. Thank you for sharing and hosting this lovely event. Hi Martha, I love seeing your lovely face with your little grand baby. That's such a sweet photo. And I absolutely love the blue Italian cup. There's something so over-the-top about Italian design, isn't there? Once I brought a small 7 piece orchestra form Murano made form brightly coloured glass. I'll photograph it when I get back to Vancouver. Hugs to you...but you've already got one from sweet little Sophie. :)

Martha I love your creativity! the books you're making are amazing!
and I personally wouldn't even have noticed wrinkles if you hadn't mentioned them - that's how us women are when in fact, it's the loving care of your granddaughter that captured my attention!
especially now that I've just become one myself [June 4th!]
For sure they won't even be a consideration to our wee ones!
God bless you in your grandmothering =)) and Peace ...

Hello Martha,
What a sweet picture of you two! I Love it! We are so lucky to be grandmothers, and have our grandchildren to love.
Your china is all beautiful, the new table too is wonderful! The hand blown tea cup is so unique, at least to me. And the forget me not is just so sweet. The Milkasa is very elegant. You gave us such a good example of different styles of tea cups.
Your baby book is adorable! I love this style of book, with all the pockets and partial pages. Beautiful! I am so glad you are having fun : )
Hugs,
Terri
