STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART!

Hi Ladies: The weekend is upon us at last. I am sure a lot of you are getting ready for a Super Bowl Party. Our home is no different, the Super Bowl fever has arrived here too. My job is to get some food ready for the "boys"! It should be fun, even for a non-football fan like me. To add to the busy schedule, I will be watching Noah for two days in a row, so this Grandma is going to be tired. As I have said before the simple joys of my family and home make for a Romantic life for me. A perfect February!

I know some of you tea lovers are aware of the Tea Cup Swap that is currently going on at http://faithhopecherrytea.blogspot.com. Having never seen or heard of a Tea Cup Swap, I decided to join. I am so glad I did, it was so much fun. I was going to wait and show you this tea cup on Tea Cup Tuesday. I just couldn't. I was too excited. I hope you can see it, it was a little hard to picture. This tea cup is shaped like a heart and so is the saucer. It is the cutest Valentine's Day, white china tea cup, I have ever seen. My new swap friend Deedee, at http://deedeescraftspot.blogspot.com sent me everything you see in the picture. I scored! The notes are handmade and the tea is some of my favorite, the flowers, I even got a cute little tea spoon. It has a tea pot on top! If you look at the note picture closely, you will see that it is my tea cup on each card. So cool!

Terri and I both joined this Tea Cup Swap Party. It was so much fun that Terri and I have decided that we are going to have one for Easter. So start thinking about it now! You have plenty of time to get your tea cup and tea treasures together.

I have taken some pictures of some vignettes around my home for you to see the fun Romantic things around my home. Always a die-hard Romantic, now I have a reason to express it. I love finding the beauty in details. Have a wonderful week. See you on Tea Cup Tuesday.

The songs you are hearing are all Spanish love songs. I don't think you need to know the words to enjoy and hear the love!
Hugs, Martha

What a lovely teacup, Martha. I haven't seen a heart-shaped cup. It's perfect for Valentine's Day.

I'll start shopping for the Easter Teacup Swap this weekend.

Try not to tire yourself out too much. La

Martha, how fun!!! I do like your pretty white, heart shaped tea cup. I know you will enjoy all your goodies. I, also like real tea spoons; how dainty.

Last year, while looking at tea cups on the internet, I came across some beautiful pink ones. I couldn't believe how pretty they were. The tea held a heart shape and the pink was sooo Valentine~ish. I thought one day I would love to have a St. Valentine Day tea party from a set like that.

Thank you for sharing, and enjoy this weekend.

Many blessings,
Marianne
