TEA CUP TUESDAY NO. 18!

Hello Ladies! Happy Tea Cup Tuesday. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My was very busy with family and Grandchildren. It was so fun watching Noah in the pool. As I am writing this, my son, Kyle is back from his adventure. I have missed him, telling me he is hungry. He is hungry all the time. Does any one else have a son, with a stomach that never gets filled? It does get weary trying to feed him all the time, but I even missed that. He took me to see "Eclipse" before he left. The moment I sat down in the theatre, I feel asleep. I hate that, I was so mad at myself. I did go again, in the morning and stayed awake this time. It was so wonderful to spend the weekend with family, God is so good to me! I do need to count by blessings!

This is our 18th Tea Cup Tuesday. Time flys when we are talking tea cups! I have gone back to more normal tea cups this week. The first one I am sharing with is this week's favorite. It is a off white Coalport, with matching creamer and sugar bowl. It is a Royal Fluted, Eight Ribbed Cup. Notice the edges, they look like they have been cut with pinking sheers. The cup has a loop handle. The sugar bowl is pedestal shape. I just love how they look.

The next cup is a Coalport trio. It is called "June time". It is an Eight Ribbed, Scalloped, Swirled shape with a loop handle. Like all Coalport tea cups it is exquisite. I love the pastel bouquet pattern.

Cup number three is demitasse, Hammersley & Company. It has a beautiful bouquet of mauve, blue and plum as a pattern. The cup has tall, flared, ribbed body and a Old English handle. The saucer also features a raised swirled pattern. I do hope you do not mind that I give the proper discription for each cup. I think it helps us become a more knowledgeable collector.

The pretty little tea pot is a Royal Staffordshire. I love the cottage design. It I ever tell you I collect cottages? Figurines and pictures are some of my favorite things to collect. (I know, I have too many things!) In my defense, I do sell alot on Ebay. When I get tired of a collection up it goes. Sometimes though, I start selling a collection and only send sell half, because I changed my mine. Therapy is calling! The larger tea pot is a Sader. Love them both! I have not put up pictures of Noah lately. I know you were missing him. The second one is Noah, my son Kyle and my daughter Vanessa!

Thank you so much for joining the party once again. All you have to do is fill out "Mr. Linky", it will do the rest. Join early, join late, just join and invite a friend. Don't forget to visit Terri. She is the best. Her address is http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/. Terri is a blessing. Have fun! Blessings, Martha

Noah is so cute! I too have had a very happily busy past 3 weeks with grandchildren. Of course it is always fun to have tea ( hot cocoa) with them and this TeaCup Tuesday has inspired me to have more tea parties with them, which they LOVE ! Thank-you for this.

I very much like your white teacups. Actually, I like all your pretty tea cups, but there is something about basic white that is refreshing and just calling out for tea time to be filled with lovely and encouraging conversation as the embellishment and decoration of the precious time with family or friend.

Good morning Martha- These are all lovely. I like the white Coalport best. White dishes are so easy to dress up or down depending on mood and they always look elegant. The picture of your children and Noah is postcard perfect. Take care

Martha what a lovely collection you have. The white tea set looks organic and reminds me of shells from the ocean. I just love your presentation of your tea cups. Do you make all the jewelry that you include in your tea cup display?
By the way, I think I posted correctly this time for Teacup Tuesday, so please stop by and visit.

I think there is something wrong with the comments part of Blogger, as this shows zero comments now, and it was posted twelve hours ago. My comments aren't showing up either. I get email notification of comments, but they don't show up.

Anyhow, I have that same cottage teapot. I love it!! It's my very favorite teapot (I think).

The teacups are gorgeous. I especially love June Time...so perfectly named, huh?

Finally, I have an 18 year old son, so I fully understand the always being hungry thing. We call it the "hollow leg syndrome." surely one small stomach can't put away that much food...it MUST be going to a hollow leg!!

Noah is adorable. Looks like he's having a good time.

Have a blessed day,
Patti

Hi Martha :) Once again you have shown us some amazingly beautiful teacups, and gorgeous bling to go with them! My favorite is your Coalport set, love the fluting on it, and the fact that it is white so you can mix and match it with any teapot you like!

Happy Teacup Tuesday my friend!!

Warmest Hugs, Brenda

Just had to drop by and see what beauties you had to offer this lovely Tuesday. Your Coalport trio (June Time) is adorable, and I actually love the simplicity of the off-white Coalport. And yes, the fluted edges do look like they had been cut with pinking shears. Lovely selection this week, as always.

Martha I have to say that all the tea sets are amazing. I do love the pot with the cottage on it just because I have had a life long dream to live in just such a cottage. But the white set, when I first saw it I thought it was made from delicate sea shells, it is stunning, made more so by being unadorned. Lovely!
