HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

Hello Ladies: Hope all of you are well and enjoying your 4th of July weekend. My son, Kyle, is off on his first dirt back riding trip. I really don't know who gave him permission to grown up, but he did. I will be home being your normal neurotic, Mother, praying he is making wise choices and for some extra angels around him. My 4th will be spent like a normal person, with my family, by the pool and by the food.

Feeling very blessed to live in this great country. I am truly grateful, for all those young men who are way from their homes fighting a war to keep us free. I pray for their safety and for the mothers who have to worry about more than just a dirt bike. My heart and my prayers go out to them.

This is Pink Saturday, and our lovely host Beverly has asked us to show off our Patriotic items. Being the obedient person that I am. I am going to show you some vignettes around my home. I am also going to announce the winner of the Tea Cup Trio. My giveaway for reaching 300 plus followers. Noah tried very hard to be fair about his choice. He looked everyone's name, the only problem he had was, he can't read yet. So he pick the one on the pink paper. So, our pink paper winner is Jan from http://janellabella.blogspot.com/. I hope your like it. Please email me your address and I will ship your trio to you. Thank you all for being a part of my journey. I have learned so much from you.

Don't forget, Tea Cup Tuesday. Have a wonderful, safe weekend. Blessings, Martha

P. S. I am off the pain med's! Thanks for your prayers!

Happy 4th of July to you too Martha. My son went through the dirt bike thing...the bungy jump thing...the parachute thing...four wheeling...and now bicycle racing. I keep wondering when he's growing up, LOL. He's 37 but to me he is still a kid that I worry about. Enjoy the weekend! Connie

Kids grow up too fast. Our Son likes to race motorcyles and it scares me to death a times, but what can you do when they are adults, but worry about them. That is what Mothers do.

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday.

Hope you hade a star-spangled 4th! Your home is always so inviting. We have something in common...you have the Farberware hand-wrought Aluminum tray too! I have a mixed collection of hand-wrought aluminum..LOL it's as bad as your collection of teacups. I have over 75 peices displayed throughout the house! G;ad you are feeling better.
I'd also like to invite you to visit me at etsy shops, Apronation and Brown Gingham Creation, and other bloggers/crafters for Market Monday at the Etsy Cottage Style Blog. I Co-Host the Market every month and it runs the whole week long. I hope you can stop by and browse., last month we had over 70 vendors...it's like a huge Flea Market!
