Thrifting & Therapy, What A Life!

Hi Ladies: I want to thank everyone who joined us for our first "Tea Cup Tuesday". Everyone shared such beautiful tea cups. I found that I had a couple of the ones shared in my own collection. (I love to look at decorating magazines and find that I own an item. It makes me feel like I have good taste! Something that is often in question by my dear daughters.) So, it was kind of the same thing. The ladies that I shared cups with confirmed, good taste. If they picked it, it has to be good!

I am still going to the various doctor's to figure out what my problem is with dizziness. Although I have been less dizzy, now that I have to document time and blood pressure. It's like going to the doctor for a bad fever and when you go in, you guessed it, no fever! I have ear physical therapy tomorrow morning, that such be interesting. (Ear lopes up, now down, side ways, breathe or is that listen?) Who knows? I will keep you posted. I think I have been a little depressed too. So please pray for this crazy woman. No desire to do much, which is not like me.

Last night I went to Noah's open house at his preschool. He had a sad first day, so I wanted to be there to let him know everything was ok. He was so happy. He had all his Grandma's there and called each by name as he showed off his talents on the slide. Today was his second day, it went about the same as the first day, only, I cried a little less. So I guess we are both getting better.

Here are a couple of items I picked up at the Thrift store the other day. I just love that cement lady. She is going to live outside. Don't forget, I am having a give away this month. Noah is going to help me pick once again. All you have to do is put my button up in your blog, join, if you have not done so, and comment. The more comments, the more chances to win. Just let me know what you are doing. Please keep in mind that our "Tea cup Tuesday" will happen again, next week. We hope to get even more of you to join. Please email me if you would like to play!

Blessings, Martha

What a sweet photo of Noah coming down the slide.
It is a bittersweet day to see them grow up and start pre school. I will keep you in my prayers and really hope that the Doctor can help you with the dizziness.

Noah is a little cutie! I really hope the doctor can help you, and you are ok. I know what you mean about symptoms disaappearing as soon as you get to the docs! Oh Martha, isn't feeling depressed just awful. I have had patches of it on and off over the years due to stress (of family) and then because of my cancer and treatments. It does make you feel like doing very little sometimes. But! by the sound of you, you conquer it with spirit, as you do so much! I will pray for you you sweet soul. Suzie xxx

That cement lady is so lovely and the blue bowl in the second photo is so pretty! Noah is such a cutie! He'll be fine once he gets used to the idea of going to school. Hope they figure out what is causing your dizziness. I just saw on The Doctors that packaged foods and too much sugar can cause depression. Eat well and be healthy! Best wishes and many blessings, Tammy
