SECOND TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hi Ladies: It is Tea Cup Tuesday! (Ok, I know it is Monday, work with me!) Here are three cups that I currently have out on display. They are not my favorites, at least I don't think so. I remember falling in love with the color, they are teal. How often do you see that color? I would like to know if anyone else has teal cups. I think they are beautiful. The solid teal with gold roses is Crown Staffordshire, the Chintz with pink roses and gold roses and pale teal color is a Colclough China and the last white with blue flowers is a Royal Dover. All three cups are English. The pin on the white cup is an Original Robert, quite collectible! One day I will show you all my pins. Maybe I can do it by color, featuring a different color each week. I did tell you I collect vintage costume jewelry. I have Weiss, Haskell, Trifari, Hobe to many to mention. That was my first love, back in 1969, when wearing a bra was an option and flowers in your hair was not!

I hope that you will join us on Tuesday and show us your tea cups. Terri at http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/ will have the same list up. You can join anytime, we will just add you to the list. Still trying to figure out how to send emails as a reminder to all. So if your name is not on here, just email and we will add it. We are using "Mr. Linky" this week. Terri's son has joined us to help set this up. Oh, to have a young brain! We are forever grateful to him!

For those of you that want to play, all you need to is fill in the two blanks above yourselves. The 1st box just the blog name, second spot, you blog address with http:// before it.
Does that make sense? It will add you the moment you do that. Very easy, I am told. LOL! We can do this ladies!

Hope that you will have fun sharing your Tea Cups. Don't forget the give away. Details in the last post. Blessings, Martha

Hi Martha...I want to join but I STILL don't know how. Tried sending an e-mail to Terri's above address and it wouldn't go through. I'm having a hard time. I WISH I were technologically minded but I'm not. Martha, what is the URL? Can you tell me how to reach Terri again so she can give me step by step instructions? Thanks. You are a dear. Your non-technical wanna be, Susan

I like the blue cups. We are going to be using aqua accents in our booth. Once we get our stuff set up I'm going to have to dig out my tea cups out so I can join you. Yes, they are currently in boxes. I know you know all about boxes my sweet friend!

I like all of the teacups but the second one the best. And yes I do have some teal teacups.
You can't find them that often.

Enjoy your Teacup Tuesday. I might even join you one of these days!

Absolutely lovely teacups. I am not surprised. You have an eye for wonderful collections.

I found a beautiful handpainted Nippon teacup over the weekend painted with violets.

It reminds me of your background here!

Just beautiful.

Hi Martha,
Thanks for your lovely message on my blog... I have had that cup for quite some years now.. so didn't pay what they are now..:) I also have Sunset...(Will post that later) Those 2 really are in my favorites.. I had a heart attack after I posted and saw all the other really pretty feminine cups... I thought no one would like it... I have quite a few in storage.. DH wants me to sell some of them but already told him there are some I just cant part with... including that one.. I would love to collect enough of that one for a tea set.. but they are also hard to come by..and yes pricey now..
