IT'S PINK SATURDAY! YEAH!

I have come to love "Pink Saturday". I even have my dear sweet sister-in-law, Maureen, wishing me a happy Pink Saturday and she does not even blog. I think a national holiday for the color pink is getting closer than you might think!

This week we are to share a special ornament or decoration. I just cannot think of one. I love all my Christmas ornaments, each one is so special, each with it's own special memories. Christmas is my favorite time because it is the celebration of the birth of our Savior. Everyone is kinder and gives you that extra attention you do not normally get. It's like the world even knows something special has happened.

I was a little under the weather these past few days. All my children came to the rescue. They do not like to see their Mother sick. Strict orders were given to the Mother, that's me, to rest and rest and to rest. When did they get old enough to give orders to their Mother?

I tried when they were all home to at least get my son, Kyle and the two Grandchildren together for pictures. I wanted to send them out in my Christmas cards, which I have not done yet. However, my little Noah, can not stay still for pictures. As you can see, we did attempt. These were the best out of 30 attempts. Princess Maya, however, always is ready and looks perfect!
My hope is that all is well with you. I still have not finished with the gift wrapping. Very frustrating. My PS pictures are of some treasures I found this week at the Thrift Store. The two dishes are Belleek. They are the palest pink, stunning and cost only $6.00. A treasure indeed.

Scoring on Thrift Store treasure always puts a smile on my face. I have been very tired today, maybe it was those last two real sick days. So I am going to behave my self, listen to my children and rest. Lots of love and blessings, Martha

How absolutely and positively WONDERFUL! You know, I ♥ Pink Saturday but when you can pair it with Christmas - my gosh, what could be better? And, you did a marvelous job☺

Hope you are feeling better soon. This is a rotten time of year to be feeling poorly.

Loved your post today, just loved it. Wishing you a weekend filled with fun, family and friendship.

Love and blessings to you, Martha. I pray you feel better soon and that you do rest up. You've been a very busy little bee of late. You don't want to be sick for Christmas and you don't want to get that nasty flu!
I got all excited when I read you got those lovely plates at the Thrift Store. I love that mug, too and the gorgeous bronze-y brooch. Your grandchildren are beautiful, each one. Maya reminds me of my great-niece, Vania. Praying for your healing, Sweetie. Hugz~

My eldest son, who is 30, has recently begun to "order me around". I think it's cute and I appreciate his concern for me. Better to have them bossing you around than to be so busy with their own lives they don't have time to worry about yours. It's a blessing.

Hope you're feeling better.

Merry Christmas!!

Your family is so beautiful! I know getting the two year olds to stay still is quite a challenge. I tried this weekend at the family Christmas party and barely got one good shot. Not to say they aren't cute! Your pinks are pretty as usual. It sounds like your basement will be calling your name in January, are you scared, lol!

Beleek! I have a collection of Beleek too, mostly shell themed items...and I posted about them in June ’09 at the first cloche party. Here is the link:
