DID I EVER TELL YOU I COLLECT CHRISTMAS TREES?

The weekend was very busy. My niece, Rachel, turned 13 years old. The whole family gathered to wish my youngest niece at great birthday. She was delightful as always. Noah, played the piano for the family. Just call him the "Piano Man". He was the only baby in the crowd so when he stuck his fingers in the homemade cake, it was all o.k.

Did I ever tell you I collect Christmas Tree pins? I probably have about 100 of them. I am going to try to take some pictures of them. I got my first pin from a lady at our church, her name was Floy. This was in 1983, I think. She has long since gone to be with the Lord but it was her love of Christmas pins that caused me to grow such a large collection. (At least that is the reason, I am sticking to!)

Hope to get out to see some Christmas lights at Griffin Park this week. It has been raining so hard and it has been so cold, it is hard to move. When I was driving home on Saturday night, there were 3 accidents that I saw and as I got back to my little town, a cloud settled on the freeway. That has never happen to me before, it was scary to say the least.

I have my very difficult test this week and with every one's work schedule, I still need to find a ride. I am sure it will all work out, please pray for me, I do not do tests very well.

I have been visiting all your blogs and your homes are beautiful. The decorations are stunning! I have made a decision that next year, I am having a pink Christmas Tree. It is about time!

Please stay dry, warm and healthy! Blessings, Martha

The little ones love the sweets don't they! That cake had to be so tempting for him! I have a Christmas tree pin from my Great Grandmother I love. It has matching earrings too, but I seldom wear earrings. Christmas pins are so much fun. I just put my tree pin on a coat last week and it has a little bell at the base of the tree that jingles.

I've been praying for you sweet Martha and will pray your test goes well. I'm sorry I missed so many posts. We has a family Christmas party and my Mom's Birthday and my sister was in town all weekend. I so enjoy spending time with her. God bless and I'll be thinking about you.
