DO YOU HAVE SOMEONE ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST THAT IS HARD TO BUY FOR?!

I have someone very special that I look all year long for a gift. This person, who I love deeply, has everything and is very particular about everything. She will always say she does not need anything. "Spend your money on yourself and I will be happy!" How can you do that to the best Mother in the whole world? I have always given her the gift, I thought she would enjoy and she always thanks me for being so thoughtful. However, "Meja, do you have the receipt?", always seems to follow. The best laid plans of mice and men! I purchased her gift yesterday. I made a decision not to leave the store until my Mother had a Christmas gift! Three hours later, we had success! Give her a gift certificate, you say! No, that will not work with her, she prefers presents. She loves to open them up! She looks so cute doing it, you just have to love her! So, Mom, here's hoping!

I am still putting Christmas things up. You know I have 3 bins of Nativity Sets, could not find one. My daughter, Vanessa, has used the basement for storing some of things for about 4 years. When she moved, my sweet, precious son-in-laws, moved everything. So now, I do not know where my things are. Oh, well, I am sure I will find them by next Christmas. I did have everything in order by months in the basement. So now I have to start all over again. Thank God for January and a new beginning.

I took some pictures of a few things I have been working on. The Christmas stockings were all made by me, when I was more together. (Those were the days, my friend, we thought they would never end!) Have a great week! Blessings, Martha

Hi Martha....Love your stockings! Adorable. And the swag on the curtain is lovely, too. Yeah, I think we ALL have one or more people who are difficult to buy for. ha! Makes it more challenging. Oh, I liked the idea of identifying bins by month. My attic is an unholy MESS. Maybe I'll try that. How are you feeling, Martha? Have been praying for you. Warmly, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

Look at all those cute stockings! I love the swag on the window. gorgeous! It is hard to buy for someone who has everything. Do you make anything you could give her? Then she can't return it:)
Have a blessed day Martha!

Gwen

Wow! You did great work on all those stockings. They are beautiful! Love your wreath hanging in the window. Wish I could find some evergreen around here. Would have gone great with my orange and clove pomanders. Hope your mom loves her gift. Maybe you should do like Gwen said, make something so that she can't ask for the receipt. HA! Blessings to you dear Martha. :) Tammy

Love the stockings. I have several "someones" like that. This year I am making them a little photo book on Shutterfly. I think it will be perfect. And I think they have a sale going on for a few weeks more!

How are you girly? Thinking of you today. Praying all is well.

I know the shopping dilemmas with Momma's! :) I do the same thing. But, my momma needs everything so it's sorta easy now that she is older.

Lifting you up to the Most High.

Love, Rebecca

Oh, Martha I hope you are doing better. Wish I were closer to give you a hand.

I am always done with cards, shopping by Nov. 15th & tree goes up Thanksgiving weekend. I don't enjoy being out with the 'no ho-ho's crowd' in Nov./Dec.

Hugs, TTFN ~ Marydon
