DECEMBER'S FIRST TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 249!  Our first tea in December, it is hard to believe.  What is even harder to believe is that I am all finished Christmas Shopping.  It is so true and I am well on my way to finishing up the wrapping as well.  I have never done this before and it would not have happened without my dear daughter's help. She was the one that said you have to do it, no matter how you feel. When I could not go, she went for me.  Macy's was our store of choice this year.  How could you pass up all those coupons? The grandchildren had placed their orders on a  wish list a long time ago.  All I needed to do was wait for a sale.  I am not sure why everything went so easy for me this year.  However, I am so glad something did, concerning with the year we had. Our Thanksgiving was good, my son did have some trouble with all the different festivities, but as a whole it was great!  We are still eating Turkey.

I am not quite finished decorating.  I don't think I ever finish decorating, but it is getting close.  I love sharing Christmas Tea Cups.  So many beautiful ones to pick from.   Want to start with this Duchess, from England.  The pattern name of this cup is "Winter." I love the colors that are used on this cup.  The colors are not the typical Christmas red and green.

The next cup is the Classic English Spode cup.  Love the ruby Christmas trees I have place in each cup.

The last cup I am sharing today is this Mikasa. I have always loved this china company.  It seems everything they make is so elegant.  This tea cup is no exception.

Look how big Princess Maya is getting.  Thank you so much for following this party each week.   It never gets old for me. I have not heard from Terri this week, which is not like her.  Please continue your prayers for her and her son. They have both been in a lot of pain.  I would also appreciate continued prayers for my son as well.   Have a wonderful week. Sending hugs  your way!   Martha

I have barely started my Christmas shopping, so my hat is off to you, Martha. Your teacups are perfect and I really like the Spode one. Perhaps because I have the matching mugs. I love turkey left-overs; enjoy! Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea.

Blessings,
Sandi

I am well on my way with Christmas shopping, having selected easy gift cards, and internet shopping. Some are even wrapped. But no decorating yet. Glad you have got all that done; more time to relax and enjoy the season. I have not a single Christmas teacup! Love yours.
Continuing to lift up prayers for your son. xo Deborah

Hi Martha,
Your pine cone teacup is so pretty and I am upset with myself because I saw a pine cone teapot yesterday while I was treasure hunting but passed it by because I was trying not to be a hoarder. Lol! My favourite is your Mikasa today. I only have one Christmas teacup and never see any as pretty as yours but I will continue the search. I love all of your Christmas decor! So festive! Happy December!Blessings Dear Friend, Karen

Your Christmas china is gorgeous, Martha! And yes, Maya is getting so grown up = yikes, slow her down, please!

As for Terri and her son, and yours, too- prayers to them all.

I need to double back to find out what's wrong with Terri - I have been a very negligent friend/reader, and for that I am heartily sorry. : - (

God bless. Hugs.
