PRAYERS FOR BOSTON AND A FEW TEA CUPS!
Hello dear friends: Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 162! Posting a little late today, I had my grandson over for the day yesterday and to be honest he wore me out. He is into Star Wars these day and I was Darth Vader yesterday. Can't tell you how many times I was lasered and limbs removed yesterday, believe me, bad guys never make it. He did tell me I am the best Grandma in the world, even though I am old. By the time he left, I was exhausted and Boston, was the only thing on my mind. I went to bed thanking God that my family was all fine. As I prayed for the families that were involved in that horrible event. I even got to talk to my son, who is well into his Fireman training. He will be a first responder in a couple of weeks, like his brother-in-law who is a police officer. I have family serving in the military. Without the peace that only God can give you, I don't know how anyone can make it through the times we are living in.
My first cup today is this Royal Dover from England. Love the shape of this cup.
Cup No. 2 is a Duchess also from England. A very simple, and classic cup. Still deciding if this is a cup, I will be putting up on my website. Like I said I am trying to thin my collection down. I am teaching a Bible study next week about an organized home. (This is at the request of the Pastor's wife.) The hardest study, this almost, could have been, but not willing to admit to yet, hoarder, (I prefer Serial Collector) could ever do. (WHAT DID I JUST SAY?) So, I am trying real hard.
This last cup is a Royal Albert. This is my favorite cup this week. The shape is just wonderful. You can get a large amount of tea in this cup, which is a plus for me.
My Internet was down for most of last week, so I did not get to visit all of the parties. I am planning to stop by everyone's party this week to look at all you pretty things. Terri and I just love to look at all your tea cups. Thank you for being so faithful, even when I am not. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha

The teapot is really pretty and forget me nots are wonderful! The perfect motif Martha! I am praying for Boston as well!
Beautiful teacups Martha!
I love that teapot, Martha!
Thanks for co-hosting!!
Hugs.
Oh Forget Me Knots - one of my favorites - I love the teapot, especially.
I love teapots and yours is gorgeous, sweet Martha! Forget me nots are so pretty, I should buy the flowers sometimes. You always display the loveliest teacups and saucers. I am so upset over Boston as my dear nephew lives there, but thank goodness he wasn't close to the bombing. I feel sorry for the victims and their families! God bless them all.

Martha, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your forget me not teacups. And when you look at my post, you will see why. :-)
Hi Martha, everything pales a little compared to the strife in the world today, doesn't it. I'm glad you said Boston is on your mind, mine too. I also chose a forget-me-not cup. I think there's something in the ether. Hugs to you.
Dear Darth...I'm sure you are the most wonderful "abuela" in the world!
It is SO WONDERFUL being a Grammie, isn't it? I love my 7 month old baby girl! She's sooooo sweet.
Yes, Martha, the bombings in Boston have saddened my heart to a huge degree. This world is pathetic. Only God can help us. Susan
Hello Martha,
Thank you for your dear post. I am saddened too by what happened.
I am delighted to hear about Noah and how well he is doing. He always was a smart guy!
Your tea cups today are vintage treasures. Beautiful!
Hugs,
Terri

I love your teacups. Your collection is always an enchantment... Never mind a too-organized house, teach how to create a welcoming one!!! You're so good at it.
I'll sound like another echo of all the teapot fans! It is so sweet!
What tea are you brewing? :))
Hi, my dear, dear friend. I have not visited in some time and I do apologize. Time was a big factor in my life lately and I just didn't seem to have much. lol. I've missed you and the tea ladies. I don't have any tea time to share with you, but I so enjoy your beautiful collections. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family since you have those that truly help others. I pray for their safety always. Your grandson is still keeping you very busy and I'm always amused by him. He has a wonderful imagination and he's so blessed to have a wonderful grandma that enjoys his adventures with him.
I FINALLY was able to post something on my blog, Martha. I hope you can take the time to visit.
I've missed you bunches,
Brenda

Darth Vader, you say? Well, I never would have taken you for a villain, dear lady! Your tea cups are lovely, and I am particularly fond of your blog banner! Very pretty! Regards to you and your little grandson.
Just being in the same room as those exquisite cups would terrify me (with me being the proverbial bull in the china shop and all)!
