TEA CUP TUESDAY AND ANOTHER WINNER!

Hello Ladies: Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 133! I hope you have all had a wonderful week. I was lucky enough to go to Lake Arrowhead on a Retreat. Retreats are wonderful, so relaxing. It was my birthday on Sunday and I celebrated all day long. My dear friends celebrated with me in Lake Arrowhead and my family celebrated with me when I got home. I felt like a party animal all day! Among the fun items I received was a I-phone. You can imagine the frustration, when I had to ask Noah how to answer the phone. I think the phone is just a little too smart. I have been struggling with the phone for the last 48 hours. Just trying to make simple phone calls. You just have to talk to the phone and it will send a text for you. (Don't tell anyone, but it is to smart for me!) I hope it will get better.

I have some wonderful cups to share with you this week. This first is this all gold Bavarian Tea Cup. I just love how it looks.

My second cup is Hart China. I have never heard of the company before, but I have had this cute little number for years. The cup features these amazing orange roses with a great shape cup. I am not a big orange fan, but this time of year, I think they look wonderful.

The last cup I am sharing this week is a pot belly shape cup by Taylor and Kent Bone China from England. Love the shape of this one.

Here is Mr. Linky for this week. I hope you are still enjoying the fun of sharing tea cups.

Before I forget, Mom Wald, informed me that she has won my give away before and feels guilty that she won again. So, Noah, pick another name this week. Our winner is . . .Michele @ The Nest at Finch Rest. Thank you Mom Wald for your honesty, I am sure Michele is happy today. Please send me your address Michele so I can pack up your new tea cup.

Have a great week. I know I am late again, but, I was away and it was good! Hugs, Martha

Martha, I have never seen a totally gpld teacup. The orange flowered cup was pretty too but I loved the third one's shape pattern and color.

Fabulous, Fabulous elegance... I always marvel at the beauty of your displays and teasets... Your golden , bejewelled teacup and saucer are dazzling.

I've never seen one that is completely gold with no pattern. It's quite lovely especially in your settings. The candle saucer at the end is my very favourite.

Thanks for sharing all your beauties... Superb as usual...Hugs Birthday Girl and belated greetings...

Oh Martha, of COURSE we still love looking at teacups. I do, anyway, and today's are terrific.

Happy (late) birthday! I had a September birthday, too, last Thursday! But guess what? I celebrate all MONTH! Ha!

Take care and have a wonderful week. Susan

Martha, your teacups always amaze me. I love them all but especially the all gold.
I'd like to wish you a happy birthday, a little late I know. And I know exactly how you feel about your iPhone. I still use a dinosaur of a mobile phone. I'm sure you'll have it mastered in no time though.

Put another candle on your birthday cake! Happy Birthday, Martha. Sounds like a nice weekend! What lovely cups you are featuring this week. I hear there is a free ap to help you find your new iphone if it gets lost. I have no idea about aps and iphones, but hope you enjoy yours :)
Thx for hosting,

Happy Birthday and I think I'm the same way when it comes to cell phones.. what does it do and why.. cause I just want to talk on it and send photos.. nothing big, no reports, nor special tools, nor directions or call me a cab. Just a gabbing box and camera please.

But thanks for sharing your great news and what a pleasant treat on the tea cup!

warm hugs,

Cotton Peony

Hi Martha,

I have to agree with you: orange is not one of my favourites also, but it is autumn and like you, I had to give it a little nod. I like the pot bellied Taylor and Kent set. Even though it is gold trimmed, it has a down-to-earth essence about it, doesn't it? I guess it's the pretty pink and yellow flowers-they're more cottagey than mansion!

Thanks for stopping by my place. Hope to see you again soon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARTHA! It sounds like you had a lot of wonderful celebrations. And so you should. Be thankful you have a very smart little grandson that can help you out. He's such a doll.
OK, I LOVE the potbelly! IT's special and I adore the flowers.
Isn't Mom Wald a wonderful lady? Congrats to the winner.
Wonderful post, Martha. I've missed you. It has been really busy for me lately. I just had to visit on tea day.
Hugs,
Brenda
