TEA CUP GIVE AWAY AND PRAYERS NEEDED!

Hi Ladies: Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 128! I am asking for prayer this week. Hurt my sciatica. I am in great pain. Any suggestions?

Still having having my giveaway. This what I said about my giveaway last week: If you take a peek again at the top of the post, I am having a give-away. This is the cup I have choosen to use. The cup is a Queen Anne, from England. The pattern name is "Nottingham Lace". Colors on this cup are vivid with a beautiful gray and white lace background. I have also added some bling for you. What would life be like without a little bling? What do you have to do to enter you ask? Simple, just do one of the following: be a follower, "Like" me on Facebook or leave a comment on my website. Each one you do will give you another chance at this great cup. Enter as often as you like. Just let me know on the comments. I will have Noah pick a winner on September 24th. That's the day after my birthday! The give away is my way of saying thank you, for stopping by!--the lurkers, pinners, party ladies, friends, family, followers and commenters—you are all awesome!

Here is Mr. Linky for this week. Hopefully I can visit everyone during the week. Going back to bed! Hugs, Martha

Hi Martha,

So sorry you are having back problems. I had to have surgery several years because I developed a foot drop with my sciatica. No fun. Be careful ... don't lift anything over 10 lbs. or twist. Seems like anything can set it off. Wishing you well and the teacup is just gorgeous. I'd love to give it a good home!

Prayers going your way right now! The sciatica nerve is so painful, I've had that pain before and the Dr. gave me three injections, if it doesn't stop with regular medicine. Thank you so much for the lovely giveaway chance. Thank you for hosting and hoping you're well soon.

Martha, praying for you. Bless your heart. The pastor I work for has this bad and he does some type of excercise where he has to get in the floor. He swears it helps with the use of IBUF. Maybe google excercizes for this and see what you find. Love the tea cup! Please throw my name in the pot. I am a follower as well. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
P.S. Sorry, my spelling is horrible today!

For your sciatic I would suggest anti-inflamatories and ice packs, if it doesnt ease off ask your Doc for a prednisone pack. That will help reduce the swelling that will reduce the pressure on the sciatic nerve.
Mild exercise if it doesnt hurt or no exercise if it does. I know first hand how painful it can be. I will keep you in my prayers

I also liked you on Facebook:)

With your back, I suggested ice also try moist warm heat. Dry heat can make you stiffer. Has your Doc ever suggested a TENS unit? It does help to get relief at times.

Hi Martha,
Sorry to hear you are having problems with your sciatica. Chronic pain can be so frustrating. Anti flammatory meds and muscle relaxers may help along with heat compresses or soaking in a hot tub or massage. Also Gel Advil is a good pain reliever. Praying for a speedy recovery. Your teacup & saucer is a beautiful giveaway!! Love it!! Thanks for hosting.
Hope your week goes well!
Blessings,
Lisa

Hello Dear Martha,
I hope you are feeling better by now. I see you are not in Pink Saturday. I came by to see if you had. Today I am participating. I don't often get the chance.
Let me know if you are o.k.
I am keeping you in my prayers and healing thoughts.

Omy so sorry-been there lady..no medical advice but some very specific advice from my own experience. When it grabs 1. immediately stop doing whatever you are doing 2 As I can manage to do so I find a hard surface like uncarpeted floor and 'get myself down'lol flat on my back then alternate slowly bending each knee-slide foot on the floor toward your buttocks as far as you can..hold a few minutes then do with the other side..repeat carefully, slowly for perhaps 15 minutes if you can 3. lol call someone to help you get off the floor -told you I've been there 4. When I encounter this problem I make it a point to totally avoid any soft, cushy comfy chair or sofa...ony sitting on a straight hard seat chair.*whatever you o don't get in that oh so comfortable recliner. 'the end'

*no charge for the office call
