SIMPLE TEA CUP PLEASURES!

Hello Ladies: Happy Tea Cup Tuesday No. 87! It has been raining off and on here in So. Cal. I do love it when it rains, you can see my plants almost smile with delight. I wish my body would do the same. The day before it rains I ache all over and the first day of rain, my whole body feels like lead. It is hard to move. The only place I am comfortable is in bed, under the blankets. These last few days have been like that for me. The most I can do is get up for a little bit, catch up on some of your blogs and go back to bed. It is so funny, if it rains two days in a row, the second day, my body is great. However, if it rains one day and not the next, I start all over again. I am weird, I know. Sure wish I knew why this happens to me. Any ideas?

Because of this weird body I did get a change to visit so many of you. I must say, you have amazing homes. I did not get to comment on a lot of posts because of how I am feeling, but trust me I visited. When I was younger I always wondered if the people in those beautiful homes looked different somehow. I have since learned, that I can visit you "beautiful people," through this wonderful medium called "Blogs." Not only are your homes beautiful, but you are beautiful and creative ladies inside and out. I feel so blessed to have so many of you as my friends. It is like having a pen pal, only better because it comes with pictures!

As you can tell, due to this body, I am very late with this post. I just could not miss it. So lets get started. Cup No. 1 is a favorite of mine. It is a very different Limoges. I love the wavy saucer. Limoges is always amazing.

This next cup is a Colclough, Made in England. This is a beautiful Chintz gold cup. The pictures really do not do it justice. Love the ring loop handle.

This next cup is a Royal Vale. I love the little flower prints all over. So delicate and beautiful.

I think is body is done for the day, so this post is going to be short. Here is Mr. Linky. Terri so kindly get this ready every week for us. Please don't forget to visit. She has promised us some new cups that I am sure will be breath taking.

Don't forget I give a discount on my website for followers! Have a great week. Blessings, Martha

Oh my Martha!..,

These teacups are all so lovely, each and every one! I was just a tad concerned I must admit, as to whether something may have happened..,

So sorry to hear that you are feeling achy and unwell with the rainy weather; hope it clears up with the weather's clearing, soon!

Hugs WL

P.S.~ My own dear mama has also been under the weather.., So unusually tired and weak. She has tearfully talked seriously of moving quite far away to take up permanent residence near my two sisters who are both nurses; ( she would also be near her beloved grandchildren.

She is praying for God's clear guidance as to what is best for her to do; she is 80 now and needs to consider such matters carefully!

I am childless, (and therefore am also 'grand childless'). My dear sweet mom is so close to me and after loosing my dad, ( who was also so every close to my husband and I, suddenly).., He died due to a blow to his head and subsequent serious brain injury).

She shall be sorely missed!

I realize you are unwell, so I do not want a reply yet I shall be praying for you dear Martha, and ask that you kindly perhaps do the same.

Thanks.

Hi Martha. Sorry you are not feeling well, I can relate. I don't know why you feel as you do but perhaps a check-up is in order. I know sometimes my knees hurt so bad it's like trying to walk with bricks in my knees. Sorry, hope you feel better. Beautiful post and such beautiful cups. I enjoyed them all and love the way you display them. Get better, take care and thanks for sharing.

Your teacups are always so beautiful and these certainly are candy for the eyes. Your Limoges is sooo lovely truly unique!!

I hope you feel better soon... I too have a hard time with damp, cold , humid weather... something about the pressure in the air, gets right to the bones and joints.

Your Limoges is really interesting and very pretty! Love all your cups today, as usual!
Rest up as much as your can, Thanksgiving is just around the corner....then the Christmas season! Yay!

Hello Martha,
Despite you are not feeling well, you made a wonderful post for us. The transferware is very nice for fall and the Limoges cup is truly a treasure. Take care my friend and stay in bed until you feel better. The rainy weather cannot last for ever.
Best greetings, Johanna

HI Martha,

Your teacups are lovely. I especially liked the first Limoges teacup with matching saucer. It looks like something you would use when having tea near the ocean :) :) That's what it made me think of,anyway.

I'll pray for your body. It's no fun when it's hurting. I went an alternative route and started working with a naturopathic physician to help me with weight loss and some other issues that my body was having. It's been working so far...and I've lost 35 pounds.

I'll be praying that you have good days, so that you can continue to do what you love to do...and visit blogs, too :) :) :)

Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California (formerly Oregon), Heather :)

Hello dear Martha,
I get achy too before the rainy weather but certainly not as bad as you do. Hope you feel better soon. What a nice collection you have shared this week. I am loving the gold chintz Colclough. I am late visiting because I was down with a bug for a couple of days. Enjoy the rest of your week and take care.

Blessings,
Sandi

P.S.~ I forgot to also mention that LAST WEEK Martha, I had featured your lovely seasonal blog banner in my new, 'Sunday ~ Show Us Your Seasonal Blog Banners and Backgrounds', seasonal, Linky blog party.

I had so wanted to do this launch properly with dates, invitations, advertising on my own blog ahead of time, and a special blog button and such.., Yet life has kind of 'gotten in the way' for the time being. ~ It's been lots of fun though, and really that's all that matters after all!

..,I've been realizing that quite a lot lately regarding blogging; 'love and honor your fellow blogger and have fun', is my new motto these days!
