PINK DREAMS COME TRUE!

Hello Pinkies! Hope this day finds you well. I am so excited, my pink craft room has become a reality! When I told the painter I wanted the room pink, he thought, I wanted Pepto-Bismol Pink! Not so, it is the palest of pinks and it looks wonderful. I am in the process of putting all my things back. They have been in my bedroom and in the living room. Of course, this was the week I had the most company! I even had an antique dealer stop by to visit, because my friend had told her about some of my collections. So she wanted to share my house with her. Normally, that is ok with me. I have never minded surprise visits. This week however, even Noah complained that everything was a mess.

I watched Noah all week so it was harder to get the energy up for too much after a few hours of my sweet heart. He says I am hilarious. The child is two and already he finds the humor in his Grandma. He spent yesterday taking pictures of me with my camera. No matter what I did he would say "that was a good one, Grandma". This picture is one he took. He asked me to smile and say cheese and then took a picture of my toes. This is typical of what he took. The one on top is of him and Wall - E.

I am sharing today some of my craft room goodies. Things are no where nearly done, but I am so excited I just had to share it with you. Did I ever tell you I collect craft items? I have done a little bit of everything, as my craft room reflects. I am decorating in pink and I am pretty sure I will keep that palette all year long. I will just change out the pinks! As I told you before, I have wanted a pink craft room for over a year now. My dream came true. God is so good to me!

This room is full of craft items. My current passion (noticed I said current) is paper crafts. I am working on several scrapbooks. I also hope to make some crafts to add to my new web site that is coming soon, (I hope)!
Did I ever tell you I collect shoes? I have them all over, I don't know why I never mentioned that to you. I guess I was afraid you would think I was just plain crazy! Oh, well, the truth hurts sometimes. I also hope this weekend finds you in "the pink"! Blessings, Martha

I enjoyed your post Martha and I'm glad I stopped by! Funny the things that remind you of things you had once and don't know what happened to. The pink lamp on your dresser I had once and have long forgotten until I saw yours. Umm, I wonder what I did with it, I must of sold it in one of my decorating frenzies, Lol Happy Pink Saturday my friend, Pinky hugs, Marilou

Oh Martha, you are such a riot. I got up from the computer for a moment after I logged on to your post. The music, old blue eyes, came on real loud as I was near my husband in the kitchen. He started dancing with me to "You Make Me Feel So Young." I was laughing my head off.

Then I saw the photo of your toes for Pink Saturday and thought they were included in the pink things! Read where Noah was the photographer. Oh Martha, it feels soooo good to laugh.

Love all your pinks, of course! Love, love, love that favorite color.

Take care, dear Martha. So happy you have your light pink craft room. You deserve it. Susan
