AND THE WINNER IS . . .

We have a winner! I am ready to announce the winner of the Rachel Ashwell book. Before I do, I want to thank you for being so faithful to my blog and for the friendships we have. What a great way to start a year! The winner of the give away is Jules. Her blog is http://shabby-jules.blogspot.com/. She is a sweet, happy lady you just have to go visit. So, Jules. email me with your address. Noah was glad to do the hard work of picking our winner, but first he had vacuum the rug and sweep the kitchen. He does this everytime he visits. Apparently, Grandma's house just is not clean enough for the boy!

I hope you ladies had a great weekend. I was busy helping my neighbor next door move. She lost her home, her husband left her and she was all alone in this move. It was so sad, she had to get her things out quickly so everything just was thrown in boxes and stuck in the truck. I arrived at 10:30 am, when I realized that no one was there to help. She was so upset, she was cleaning her toilets. It was heart breaking. I called a couple of men from our church, got her some help. At that point all she had was me, with bad knees and she was moving to an up stairs apartment. It was an emotional weekend to experience as she and her children had to deal with the hard realities of life.

As you have guessed by now, Noah and I are together today. He is napping for me right now. I wanted to visit with you before the rest of my day goes by. I took some pictures I hope you will enjoy. Still working on the Tea Cup Tuesday event, I will keep you posted!

I have a rough week before me, that big surgery about that weird mass they found and do not know what it is will happen Friday. Please pray for Thursday, I have to fast, yuck, and drink the drink! I also have a hard personal day on Tuesday, I would like prayer for. I am a little afraid of both events, but I know that God is with me and will help me though. If my neighbor can do what she is doing, my thing should be easy in comparison. Blessings and hugs to all! Martha

Of course if you need prayers, they are on the way, fast and furious!

Congratulations to Jules, I am sure she will love the book you were so generous to give away.
I am loving that picture of Noah! I have stories to tell of my Man Cub and his fascination with vacuum cleaners, it's become the family joke!

Bless your heart for helping your neighbor, I am sure she was very grateful. Try to get some rest, you're in my thoughts and prayers!

Come over my way for a giveaway from my dear friend- it's a graphic design for a blog!
You might not be able to use it since yours is already gorgeous but maybe you can give it to someone who would like it.
