HAPPY PINK SATURDAY!
Looking forward to Saturday, I will be watching Noah all day, which is always delightful and of course, it is all about Pink. Hope to get a chance to go to my favorite thrift store. Noah likes to go shopping, so with a little luck, that will also be something I do tomorrow.
Pinks are a little hard to find in January around my home. January is white month around here. However, I did find some pink delights in the master bath. I hope you enjoy.
I started working in my garden today, at long last. I had not done anything in the yard for a couple of months and it shows. I do have a gardener, but I really do all the moving and planting. The gardener is just in charge of clean up and the grass. Although, clean up has been hard because of the Santa Ana Winds. I have set a goal of pruning 5 roses a day. My hope is to be done by the end of January. Spring is right around the corner and I want my yard ready. Winter brings so much extra work, but it is all worth it when the new life appears.
As most of you know I am having a give away to honor my first year in blogging. Some one wrote me and said I needed to write 100 things about myself. It is a tradition in blogland. I am still thinking about that, I do not think I have 100 things that are interesting about me.
Anyway, here are the rules for the give away:
The give away will end January 31, 2010. Since I am a book-a-holic, what would be better than another book? Rachel Ashwell is my favorite designer. This book, The Gift of Giving, I believe is her best! All you have to do is leave a comment, the more you leave the more chances you get. (I love getting to know you.) If you choose to follow, I will give you two extra points and last but not least, if you add my button to your blog, you get three chances. It is just that easy. Just let me know what you have done and Noah and I will do the rest!
Thanks for following me along my life's journey. You have taught me many things and I am looking forward to learning more from you. Blessings, Martha
