STRESSED OUT IN THE FOOTHILLS!

I get stuck on little things when big things are going on. My lastest little trama, Thanksgiving or Christmas decorations. I have decided to skip decorating for Thanksgiving and go directly to Christmas. It will save me so time. I will only decorate the outside of the house and the dining table with Thanksgiving items. That seems to give me peace and I am all about peace right now. So that trama is over! (I know, get a life!)

I took some pictures of the first changes. The picture of orange flowers is going out and the Christmas scenes is in. Thomas Kinkade pictures look great at Christmas, so they are coming out! Did I ever tell you I collect Thomas Kinkade? Where does all this stuff come from? I have to sell more of it on Ebay! Remind me please, if I forget!

When I am stressed little things are hard. So please forgive me if I sound shallow, it is my way of coping. I just found out today, that my friend, Sharon, who I have know for 25 years is having serious heart problems, the doctor said she could have s stroke. She is going into surgery today. Too many sick, I just have to give it all to the Lord.

Back to frivolous, I started my Eeyore tree for Noah. It is coming out so cute. I will show it to you when it is all done. My living room and dining room is a mess with all the bins of Thanksgiving and Christmas all over. Plus, I need to put away the every day things I have out. I was in the basement today again, and I thought I heard something move in there! Jesus help me! My husband has a job to do right away!

I know this blog feels a little scattered, but that is where I am right now. I have also added a picture of my daughter, Monique. My dear friend, Bunny, wants to know what she looks like. Blessings to all! Martha

DID I EVER TELL YOU I COLLECT OLD LADY TEAPOTS?

Hello dear friends, thanks for stopping by. Our sermon this morning was on giving thanks for everything. I do have to practice that a lot more than I do. This past week I have still been stuck on the early Christmas thing. (Get a life Martha!) I went into my basement today, which is not easy, to pull out my Christmas. Instead, I found 6 bins of Thanksgiving that I pulled out. I just could not do it. I guess old habits die hard.

Did you notice my new blog? Isn't pretty? I just love it. Debbie did it for me again, she just gets me! Her button is on my side bar, in case you are interested. I think she just works magic! So, my blog is ready for Christmas. I think part of the problem I am having is, that I seem to be always tired. I go the the doctor at the end of the month, but that does not help the now.

On Saturday, I forgot about the PS post, I just forgot! I did go shopping to buy our church a new Christmas tree. I went to Stats, in Pasadena. If you live in Southern California, that is a must stop at Christmas time. You see the best of the best there. It is so hard to just pick one thing. It is pricey, so you have to practice some control.

I also found this great little creamer at an estate sale. Did I tell you I collect, old lady teapots? This will go just perfect with my collection. I have also begun to change out my pictures to winter and Christmas pictures and plates. Maybe the trouble is I just have too, much stuff? You think?

My daughter, Monique, is going to have surgery on Friday, the 13th. They are going to remove some tumors. She wants so much to have another baby, my prayer is that this surgery does not end all hopes for her. We do have Maya and are so thankful for her. Monique is young and her desire for more children is so strong, so please pray for her. I also have a dear blogger friend who is having surgery on the 16th of this month. So it is a little stressful now.

My neighbor, Paula, has offered to help me take my Christmas bins out on Tuesday. I really would like her help. I just think she might say I have too much stuff for Christmas. I don't know why that bothers me, but it does. I know I have too much stuff! What is up with me? I need prayer!

However, back to the sermon, I will give thanks to the Lord for all things, even tumors! Please pray that I can have the strength I need to do what I so desire to do. Blessings, Martha

IDENTITY CRISES

Help, my home is having an identity crises! It is not sure if it is Christmas or Thanksgiving. I have never decorated so early for Christmas and still put out Thanksgiving items. Can the two just get along? I am not sure. You ladies that talked me into this, can you help me? How do you do it? Do you just leave no Thanksgiving things out? You know who you are. Please help!

To just cope with this dilemma, I had to go shopping! It's a hard life! However, on the positive side, look what I found! So much fun. This stash all came from my favorite thrift store. Tomorrow, I have Noah, yeah! Blessings, Martha
