Hello Ladies: Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 313! Wow, can you just believe what happened this week? It almost seems impossible to believe police getting gunned down. God help us! I feel like I am in shock. All we can do ladies is pray.
I have been busy this week, working on my yard. It was sadly neglected when my son was sick. The gardener still came in each week, but they did not work on it like I would have done. With the tree down in the back, It feels like I am starting all over again, in the back. Much was destroyed with the fall of the tree, it could not be helped. It is kind of fun to redo a yard, no matter how hard the work is. I will show you when I am done.
This next cup is a Taylor & Kent. Love the mums on this great shaped cup.
My Grandchildren are away seeing the country. They look like they are having a blast!
Have a wonderful week dear friends. Stay safe. Here are the parties I will be joining this week.

Hi Martha. Thanks for hosting this great blog party. Your dishes are beautiful. Have a great week.
I know it is shocking isn't it? Saying a prayer for your son in law.
Darling tea cups.
Dear Martha:
I am so sorry about your garden. I know how you love it. Your post here is lovely. I am sorry not to have a tea time post tomorrow but rather a gardening one. I am so glad you son is better! God bless!
Hi Martha...it is a difficult time indeed. But we are praying for all to be merciful and wise. I love Franz china...so pretty! Glad the grandkids are enjoying the summer! Thanks for hosting!
Ruth
Let's hope there'll be no recurrence of such terrible incidents like those of last week. May God protect your SIL and all policemen out there!
Your tea cups are a delight to the eyes. Keep displaying them in your posts!
Good Luck with your garden work; it's worth every effort.
The world has gone mad hasn't it. The Franz pretties are so beautiful. Such intricate details. The Mums' tea cup is such a sweet shape. The police, including your son do such a marvelous job; you can be very proud of your son.
It is a devastating time for sure. I oftentimes wish my son was back here in Canada but he has another year to go at UCB. He hopes to get back next year and Mama will be very happy when he is!
Your dishes are wonderful as always, Martha. I found a new teacup which I'm sharing today. I really love it! Have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Sandi
I'm loving your gorgeous Franz tea set. Thank you for hosting, Martha. Your weekly tea parties are uplifting and provide us beauty--
a small but important thing to help us cope during these difficult times.
Yes, the recent events with the police in Dallas are indeed shocking, Martha. Thank you for your son in law and all that he does.
I look forward to seeing the progress on your yard. I'm sure it will look wonderful. Your teacups are beauties and so is that gorgeous teapot. Your grands look like they're having a ball! Thanks for hosting, Martha, and don't overdo in the yard work.
Hello Martha,
Your post brings a smile to my face with the images of your happy grandchildren!
Your lovely china too, is cheery. I once gave the Franz tea cup set and spoon to a friend. They are delightful aren't they?
Wishing you the best week!
Terri
Please tell you son-in-law that I have the utmost respect for policemen. Thank him for his service.
I can't believe how big the grands are getting! Wasn't Sophia just born like last year? She can't be that grown up already!
Your teacups are gorgeous. I have seen those Franz cups in the store before, and I always ooh and aah over them. They are just stunning.
You know what, I think I am going to participate in the party this week. Look for my link-up tomorrow.
Love and hugs,
Patti
Dear Martha,
beside its sad that your garden is not in that shape you want, I think its not so important. The very important thing is that your son is doin better. The garden will get in shape again with the time. And it gives you chance to make it nicer than ever. Your tea cup choice is excellent. And its so sweet to see your grandchildren growing. They are so adorable and lucky.
Best greetings, Johanna
Hi Martha, Oh my. I have never seen a Franz cup with such a fancy butterfly handle and a matching saucer to boot. It does look delicate. And yes, teacups do seem a bit trivial during these sad times. Take care, Jill
That last teacup is a great shape! Thanks for hosting!
I love to see the joy on children's faces.
