LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 312!  Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend.  We are back from a great vacation in San Francisco and had a wonderful time.  My children took off to Big Bear and I am watching one of their dogs.  He has escaped once for several hours, messed in the house and will not eat.  It is easier to watch sick grandchildren than one dog.  The dog has to be talked to very softly because he is an shelter dog.    I don't know how my daughter does this.

Next week I plan to change my decor all around.  It is time.  The two cups on the mantle are Coalport.  The pin at the top is an Ann Hand.  She does such amazing Patriotic brooches.

I hope that you are enjoying your 4th of July!

Just realized I did not post a lot of tea cups.  I will do better next week.

With all that has been happening around the world lately.  We all need to collectively pray: "GOD BLESS THE USA!  Here are the parties I will be joining this week.  Thank you for your faithful visits.  Hugs, Martha

You showed some lovely, patriotic teacups. What more do we need on this Independence Day.

I agree that dogs are a lot of work! I got a new puppy in March, and while I adore her and refer to myself as "Momma" to her, there is no denying that she keeps me hopping. I've said that puppies are about like 2-year olds. It makes me understand why women over 50 don't often have babies---we don't have the energy for 24/7 busyness.

Anyhow, I'm so glad to be blogging again. I have missed all my sweet friends here in blogland.

Love and hugs,
Patti

Very festive post with the american flag colors in the pictures! You're a true patriotic american lady. Watching your daughters's dog in her absence also shows what a kind mother you are.

Hello Martha,
I am so glad you had a lovely holiday! Yay! You really needed it. The two tea cups are gorgeous in blue and white. Those are lovely Coalports! The first one looks very much like my paragon tea cup today.

Hello Ruth,
You have the best posts! I feel I need a cup of tea to read with. Your food sounds delicious. And your sandwich pattern glass ware is lovely too. I have seen many glass patterns, never collected them....yet ; ) I do love your pattern with the flowers.
That is a gorgeous tea pot with the blue roses on it. I love the gold trim. And your blue Shelley is just stunning! And gold trim too! Gorgeous!
Wishing you and your dear hubby the best this week,
Terri
