Hello Ladies: It feels so good to be here this week. I have been living a nightmare. My son is home from the hospital again and improving daily. He lost a great deal of weight, but is slowly gaining it back. He went on a 1/2 cup a day rice diet for over 2 months. His thoughts were no longer clear because of it. People with PTSD can suffer so badly. I am grateful that he did not turn to drugs or other things that could have made things so much worse. I want to let you know that God has been faithful to our family. I felt that I need to give you this explanation because I have been so undependable lately. I am so thankful to each of you for your encouragement to me. Your prayers helped me get through each day. Emails always came at just the right time. Consider yourself hugged!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 289! Did you notice Terri has been posting? I have never met Terri in person, but I love her like a sister. She is a constant for me and I am so thankful she has been able to post. My post will be short this week, because I am so behind on everything. I needed you and wanted you to know that you are an amazing group of women! I am sharing a Spode Tea Cup, because they are so perfect for this time of year. To me, the Christmas Tree always reminds me of the Cross, something I am forever grateful for.
Have a wonderful week. Once again, THANK YOU! Sending hugs your way. Here is today's link:

Martha, I just want you to know I'm sending love and hope to you with this note, nothing more, nothing less. Happy to see your post to read, and that your son is improving!
Rita
Hi Martha,
It is lovely to have you back! I'm glad your son is improving and continues to do so.
I love your Spode teacup and the plate is gorgeous! I shared my Spode last week with a cute crafting idea.
I have changed my Tea Time Tuesday party to No Place Like Home. It is a party which will allow all my tea friends and others who would like to share crafts, recipes, and tea time etc., there.
Take care and just pace yourself. It is a busy time of year and stress from other situations doesn't help.
Christmas blessings,
Sandi
Hello Martha! I was so surprised to see you posting, but so happy : )The Spode cup is festive and lovely...I've always loved that cup.
You are in my thoughts and prayers each day. I love you too Martha!
Big hugs!
Terri
Hello sweet friend! I am so happy to see you back with your wonderful tea party. I wrote you a little note on your blog as soon as I arrived from Miami after a month and now we have a new bundle of joy, which I'm posting her here.
I haven't forgot you and your dear son. You both are in my prayers and soon my 15 friends will pray for him in our rosary again; but I am very happy he is slowly improving, but sad he's lost so much weight with that skimpy diet! As long as he gets well, I guess the doctors know.
Thank you so much for hosting.
Love,
FABBY
I am so pleased your son is home and improving. It is hard to see our children suffering. Look after yourself :)
I think your Spode cup and plate is rather lovely, I like this type of Christmas cup.

I'm remembering you and your son in my prayers, Martha.
I enjoyed seeing your Spode Christmas Tree teacup (it's one of my favourite seasonal patterns), as well as Terri's recent posts on her Jane Austen tree!
What a blessing to have you back, and know your son is improving. God is good! I have a Spode this week too! Hope your family begins to refresh and continue the good healing. Thanks for hosting and may God bless you this week with peace!

It is good to hear that your son is improving, it sounds like you have all been travelling on a hard road, hoping a smoother journey is on the horizon for you now and you can all enjoy some peace over the festive season. Elaine x
Oh Martha, it's so good to see a post from you!!! I'm happy to hear that your son is improving. Prayers will certainly continue, and thank you for updating us.
Your tea vignette is so pretty with your Spode teacup. Happy advent to you and thank you for hosting, sweet friend.
Hi Martha,
So glad you are back and that your son is slowly recovering. You must be so exhausted my dear friend. I think about you often and will continue to pray for you and your precious son. Thank you for hosting Tea Time! Karen
Hi Martha! I am so glad to hear your son is slowly improving...I hope things only get easier and easier! Sending prayers your way. I don't have anything tea-related to share, but I wanted to pop in and say hello, and that it is nice to hear from you. Have a lovely rest of the week! I love the vignette, and also your festive new banner!
Martha, the thing I like most about your teacup is the pattern inside the cup. I really love when there is a pattern inside.
Sorry to hear of your sons health issues - hope he will continue to recover. The Spode Christmas Tree pattern cup is one of the few Christmas teacups I own. Your displays are always so beautiful.
Martha, I'm so glad you took a moment to post and say hello; I'm sure you are busy, but it's good to see you here and get some news. I'm sorry this has been such a hard road for you and your son. I do pray he continues to improve. Blessings to you! xo Deborah ps I love your teacup, and I also love that twirly candle!
Hello dear Martha...So glad your son is better and home from the hospital. So very sorry you have been through some nightmare living. Glad the Lord was with you the entire time.
Hope your holiday is peaceful, Martha, and filled with the warmth and presence of the Baby Jesus. Hugs. Susan
