DOING NORMAL THINGS WITH MY TEA CUP FRIENDS!

Hello Ladies!  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 240! Did you notice I was missing last week?  I can't even begin to tell you all the things that have happen to our family recently.  The only way I can explain it is a spiritual attack.  Thank God for His mercies; I know He will get us through each one.  I am sorry I did not even give you a heads ups.  My only excuse is to say "lights were on, but one one was home."  I was on tilt.  I would appreciate your prayers for the men in our family.  My precious Son in Law is having back surgery today.  This is just one of the many physical health problems that has attacked the men in our family.

So, what do you do when you are stressed beyond imagination? I use to go shopping, but since I have changed my wicked ways, I continue to clean out and decorate. All of a sudden, changing things around has become the most important thing at various moments in my day.  Something happens, that I can't do anything about,  I pray and put up plates or make a wreath!  Normal, right? I have discovered that my favorite style is "French Country"  a little weird for a Mexican.  I just love it.

Have some cute cups to share with you today.  All of them are demitasse today.  The first is this Nasco, Made in Japan, demitasse cup with a bird on the handle. This is a perfect cup for Fall.

My next cup is also "Made in Japan."  It is a cute little stripped cup.

The last cup this week is a Made in USA, by Castleton China. Very delicate with a beautiful design.

My grandchildren have been so delightful this week. Children have a way of putting everything into perspective.

Thank you for your faithfulness to this little party.  Please continue to pray for Terri, she is slowly improving.  Sending hugs your way!

MARTHA

Hi Martha,
You have so much going on. I hope all will be well with everyone in your family. Prayers will be said.
I think the third teacup that you shared is my favorite. Thank goodness for grandchildren to bring happiness to our lives. Thank you for hosting and hope your week stays normal.

I love the teacups you are showing today. I can identify with you about the spiritual attacks. We are going through that right now too, but prayer and keeping busy helps with coping.

Hi Martha,
So glad that you're back! I missed your sweet post so much last week. I admire that you are avoiding treasure hunting and instead are decorating. You do have some beautiful fall decor and all of your demitasses are so pretty today. They actually look like full-sized teacups in the pics. Your grand kiddies are very cute as always! My thoughts and prayers are with you! Thank you for hosting today! Karen

Hi Martha
I was worried about your absence last week, exactly the week I had the spiritual strength to join tea parties again...
Some time ago I noticed that Terri wasn't posting and then I read here that there was something wrong with her. I'm so sorry!
I do wish things are getting better for her and for your family, too.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful decorations and the lovely china cups you selected for this week's tea.
All the best, dear friend.
Hugs from Portugal

What a great pair of made in Japan tea cups. The little bird is doing what birds do, and fiddling with your necklace!

Prayers!

Hi Martha,
You were indeed missed last week! I love the Castleton teacup. The saucer looks as though it's wearing a row of beads around the edge; very pretty! As much fun as shopping is, decorating brings out the creative side of us. I pray this week will be a better one for you and your dear family. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Blessings,
Sandi

Martha, those eyelashes on your grand are amazing! Grown women pay big bucks to get lashes that look like that!
I am sorry you are having a difficult time; I will pray for your son in law and the rest of your family.
You have beautiful teacups; I especially like that striped one. And good for you for not doing shopping-as-therapy, decorating and rearranging and being creative is probably overall much more satisfying. Blessings to you, Deborah

Martha, your posts are as delightful to read as your teacups are to look at! You never disappoint with supplying some gorgeous "eye-candy" to drool over. The demitasses are beautiful. I know you are always encouraging others to keep the faith, and sometimes we have to lean on the Lord to get us through the rough times. I'll be saying a prayer for you and your precious family. Hope all goes well with the surgery. . .

Oh, dear Martha. I missed your visit for sure. Thought you were just super busy.

I am so sorry the men in your dear family have been under attack. God help them, and you. Trust that He knows what He is doing and He is in charge.

Hope things are much better by the time you read this.

Love cups, Martha. Take care, dear friend. Susan

Oh I just adore all these beautiful colorful teacups - you have the most AMAZING collection, holy moley!

But the best pic is that precious eyeball. I come from both sides of light blue eyes and I love dark deep brown/black eyes. They're so beautiful.

I married an Italian, so I finally got my dark brown eyeballs fella. Both daughters have bright blue eyes though. It's strong in my family on both sides as far back as anyone recalls. : - )

Hugs.
