SHARING TEA CUPS AND CRAZY WEEK!

Hello Ladies!  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 227! Hope you are all well. I almost forgot it was time to post.  It has been so crazy around here.  My "Hot Shot" son  is fighting a fire in Glendale, CA  right now.  Please remember him in your prayers.  He went from a fire in Santa Barbara straight to Glendale. Let's see, this week,  the stove was left on, gas only, all night long.  We almost woke up dead.  I am so grateful for God's protection. The construction in my laundry room has been moving right along.  I can't wait until it is finish.  Next week the work will begin on the inside of the room, yeah!

I am sharing more red, white & blue cups today.  The first one is a hand blown cup from Italy. It is a stunning cobalt blue.

My next cup is a trio, Made in America, Syracuse China, "Old Ivory" pattern.  Love the rose design on this set.

The last cup is a Royal Grafton from England.  Love the single red rose.

These are a couple fun finds during the weekend.  I collect the plates and I just love the frame.  Our dear friend Terri is still enjoying her summer break, so keep your fingers crossed about the link.  The Grandchildren are enjoying a wonderful summer. Only one sad note, Maya was due for 3 shots.  As you can see she was not a happy camper.  She is spending the night this week.  I will have to do something special.

Have a wonderful week.  Blessings, Martha

Hi Martha,
I love your red and blue teacups today. They are all just beautiful!
The wedding is over now and I am hoping to get some rest. I dropped my camera while taking pics outside after the ceremony and broke it so I couldn't take as many pics as I wanted to. I hope to include some next week after I
get a new camera. Hope you have a relaxing week too! Take care,
Karen

Oh, Martha, I'm so grateful to God for watching over you. Gas is nothing to fool with! A few months ago, a local family lost 4 members because their water heater had a leak, so they all died in their sleep. My huge thanks to God for watching over you.

Your cups, as always, are beautiful. But I am especially loving your patriotic angel gal painting. She is exquisite.

Blessings,
Patti

WOW, you sure have had a lot on your plate, Martha!

Well we are glad you are still alive - how scary is that abour your gas kept on? Yikes.

LOVE that Italian glass cobalt blue teacup!

Hope the young lady who had to get shots is better....much as they hurt, it's a LOT worse when we're not protected. Perhaps you can share the history of polio, for starters. Kids today don't even know what it IS.

Hugs - have a good week.

So happy you are safe; and that God was watching over you. Your selection and displays are all so pretty. Prayers for the safety of your son.

Pray that God keeps your son as safe as he kept YOU! All of that, and you still take the time to share your lovely tea cups. Love how you included the vintage blue glass.

Dearest Martha ~ what a lovely teacup you are sharing with us today. Sending prayers and positive thoughts that God and the angels protect your son as they did with your gas scare. With all that you had going on ... and still you are hosting, thank you for your generosity. Hugs and Blessings, Celia M. (HHL)

Oh my GOSH, Martha. So glad the Lord protected all of you from that gas being on. Oh goodness, that could have been a catastrophe.

I'll be praying for your son as he fights those horrid fires! And I'm so glad to hear that you are all ok after the ordeal with the gas being left on. That had to have been scary. And the bottom picture of your granddaughter made my heart ache so. Shots are no fun!

Where oh where do you find these treasures, the pins are so pretty, like the blue cup. Your Grand Daughter will appreciate the shots later. I'll say a rosary for your Son.
