MUST LOVE TEA CUPS PARTY!

Good Morning Ladies!  Happy Tea Cup Tuesday No 191! Running a little late, as you can see.  You ladies are ready to go on Monday!  I love that about you.  It seems like the minute Halloween passes, the time just goes on super speed.  Our lives become filled with parties and decorating, not to mention Christmas shopping.  I am still trying to meet my goal of finishing it by the end of November.  I think I have a 50 / 50 chance.  My
December calendar is already filled with fun things that need to be celebrated.  Too fun!

While we are talking about fun, let's start with our Tea Cups.  I love demitasse tea cups. I think they look so delicate and beautiful.  To be honest for the longest time, I never used them, too small.  I have discovered a wonderful way to show them off and making them a part of the room decor.  I use them as tea lights.  They are a perfect size and look wonderful!

With that thought in mind I would like to show you this first tea cup.  It is a Wales China demitasse, hand painted in Japan.  This cup is so ornate with teal beading around the couple.  Pictures do not do this cup justice.

The next cup is RW, Made in Germany, US Zone 42.  The gold gilt on this cup is amazing.

The last cup I am sharing is the Elegant Fostoria, Fairfax pattern. It is a beautiful topaz color.  This too, is a demitasse cup.

As you can probably tell, I finally have my home together. Just in time to tear it up for Christmas decoration, something I love to do.  You may start seeing hints next week. (Sorry!) Lots of parties to get ready for.

This is the last week for you to join the 900 plus followers give away.  Please let me know if you are interested.  Extra chances by commenting on Pretty Vintage Things and my Facebook page.  Winner to be announce next week!

For you prayer warriors,  please keep my son, Kyle, in your prayers for the next five weeks.  He is taking an intensive for Paramedics.  He really needs to past this class to get his State Cert.  He has to pass it with a B or better.  (You don't want someone with a "C" trying to save your life!  Thank you so much.

Keep your fingers crossed about the Linky. Hugs, Martha

Hi Martha,
I am praying that your son does well on his paramedic course. What a wonderful profession. You must be so proud. I love all of your teacups. Your first one has a saucer that resembles the pictures on the teacup I featured today. Have a fabulous week.
Thanks for hosting.

Hello Dear Martha...Honestly, every time I see a photo of Kyle I think, "Man, what a handsome brute." You'd think the women would be chasing him in droves. (Hey, maybe they are! ha ha) He really is a handsome boy, Martha.

And the little grandbaby is a darling doll, too.

Your home looks beautiful, all decorated for Thanksgiving.

I know what you mean about getting ready for Christmas decorating. Sometimes when I think of all that has to be done, my brain spins like a blender. But, it will all get done.

Take care, Martha. Hope you are feeling good these days. Always love to see your post. Hugs. Susan

My house is a mess, I'm decking the halls and I am not at all too inspired or even liking it, lol! Big hugs sweet friend.

Martha, your teacups are handsome this week. So rich looking! I'm glad you have your home back in order again, just in time to decorate for the holidays.
Of course, I will pray for your son! That is a big responsibility he is taking on and I know he will do fine. God bless him!

Blessings to you too,

Martha:
I did my post so fast because we had decided to go out of town today and I just linked it here and realized that my Friends Sharing Tea has no teacup in it! Ha! It does have a pretty plate and pumpkin tart so I hope that's OK! Your teacups are lovely as always. I found some today to sell at my shop. Also, I found a Sadler teapot for $12.00 which was lovely!
