CELEBRATING MOTHERS AND TEA POTS!

Hello Ladies: Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 166! Hoping that you had a wonderful Mother's Day! I celebrated all weekend. Most importantly, I was able to
celebrate with my Mother, who I love so dearly. All my children and grandchildren were together so were my sisters and my nieces and nephews and we had a blast! Here are a few pictures of my sweet children.

I am only sharing one tea cup today. This is a Royal Albert, "Serena" cup. It is part of a very large pink cup collection I own.

Today I want to share some tea pots. Did I ever tell you I collect tea pots? I have so many, I want to take some time on Tea Cup Tuesday's to share them with you. This first one is a Seymour Mann, called Jolie Fleurs. It is one of my favorite tea pots. It is a ca. 1987 and you can still buy a complete set. The set is very pricey so, I am waiting until it shows up at one of my favorite thrift stores.

My next tea pot is a Porto from England. I really have never heard of this company, but I love the tea pot.

This last tea pot is a hand paint C.T. Altwasser Silesia. It is so beautiful, I have never found the matching creamer, but I do have the sugar bowl.

I am still looking to thank Ruthie Miller for my give away. If anyone knows her, please have her email me at marthasfavorites@aol.com. Please take a moment to give yourself a hug for being such wonderful Mamas and friends. Terri and I look forward to visiting you. Blessings, Martha

Dear Martha,
your roses tea collection is just the right choice for Mothers Day. What a sweet family you have, you are really blessed with them. The china today is as pretty as always, but I am amazed about the C.T. Altwasser set. It is so special beautiful. Thank you for sharing and for hosting this wonderful event.

Your teapots are GORGEOUS! Just like your beautiful grandchildren, that look like they have grown a bushel since I've seen them last time. Of course, my favorite tea pot is the "pricey" one.
Have a lovey tea time.

Good morning Martha,
Sounds like you had a splendid Mother's Day with your family; how lovely! I have a Serena too and I love it. I also collect teapots and I have most of mine displayed above my kitchen cabinets. Thank you for sharing a few of yours. Hope you have a delightful day.

Hello Martha,
Your family is beautiful! I am stunned at how big Princess Maya is! And Noah and Sofie! They all grow so very fast!
Your Serena tea cup is gorgeous. I have seen this one from time to time. I love the profusion of soft flowers. And your tea pots are great too. I love the second one, pink and gold! Gorgeous!
And your "Jolly Flowers" tea pot is so unique! I don't think I have seen that pattern, I would remember. I will keep an eye out.

Ruthie does not seem to have contact info available. I have tried too. Hopefully some one knows her personally and can help you connect. Congratulations to her!
Hugs,
Terri

What a sweet Mother's Day you had and what cute grandchildren !

A teapot collection! I would never have guessed you collect teapots too. :) I think teapots are so practical and if they are beautiful, as yours are, all the better ! Beauty and function...who can argue with that kind of collection ?
