PINK TURKEY? NO WAY!

Hello my Pinkie friends! Welcome to another Pink Saturday! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I have some new pictures to show you of one of my bathrooms. I recently changed everything over. It is mostly done in greens and blues, but you can't have a room without a little pink. I just love changing things around. Did I ever tell you I collect hand mirrors? I have a few of them on the bathroom wall. Others are on various dressers. I think they are so dainty. Who uses these kinds of mirrors anymore? I need to use one of those mirrors that make things 100 x bigger than life. Getting old is not pretty.

I am also including some pictures of Thanksgiving decorations I have began to put up. Did I ever tell you I collect all things turkeys? I collect turkey platters, turkey salt shakers and turkey decorations of all kinds. They are so much fun. They really put me in the mood for TURKEY! I love the rich, warm colors. Please take the time to visit the other Pinkies and as well as to thank dear Beverly, for hosting this fun party! We will talk again on Tea Cup Tuesday. I found more cups! Blessings, Martha

Oh, Martha, you have so many LOVELY collections. I think hand mirrors are beautiful. I actually still have the one that was part of my vanity set from when I was a little girl.

I LOVE that pink shelf...and those gorgeous floral draperies!! And that beautiful lady framed art piece...she is stunning. June (of Junibear Jottings) recently sent me a card that she made...and she used that same beautiful image. I've been thinking that I need to frame her...and seeing yours in frame has confirmed to me that I need to do that.

Have a wonderful day, my sweet friend.

Hugs,
Patti

Martha, I love the redo in the bath, and you are very right, every room could use a little pink. It makes you feel girly and happy at the same time.
Collecting turkeys is a great way to dress up for the feast of all feasts. I love the things you are showing up today and am so grateful not to be seeing Christmas yet. Somehow we seem to push that holiday and forget the pilgramage of Thanksgiving. Happy Pink Saturday sweetie, Char

Martha,
I love your turkey decorations! I agree every room can have a touch of pink somewhere. Our house leans masculine in colors because i am the only girl. Happy Pink Saturday!

Maratha.. You must be a queen of collecting.. I don't think many of us has a hand mirrow with a handle..the ones that makes things bigger can scare the life out of you when it shows deep furrows..when you just thought it was a little wrinkle.. I think your table is set with such cute trukeys...Is there room for the kind you eat? Ha! Happy PS

Hi Martha,

I loved your post today and seeing your gorgeous mirrors and Thanksgiving turkey treasures.
I know what you are saying about getting older, everything seems to need attending too ~ just visited the Optician for a check up and was quite surprised to see that I need glasses when driving now.
Hope that you are having a great week.

Hugs
Carolyn
