HAPPY PINK SATURDAY!

Hi Pinkies! Another Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly. What would we do without Pink Saturday? It just seems to make everything better. It makes me feel normal, in a very un-normal time for me. I have been busy this week learning how to make myself bleed to get my sugar numbers. I have not gone to classed yet, that happens next week. Right now, I am a human pin cushion. I continue to ask for your prayers, thank you!

This week I thought I would show you some items I have pick up recently at Estate sales. My Mother and I have been visiting them lately. I am only going to show you the "pinks", I will save the rest for later. This first picture looks like it is original. I love the pretty pink roses on her hat.

The next oval frame is part of a set. The other had too much glare to post, but you can see how pretty it is. I believe this set, I am going to sell on Ebay, because I have not found a place for them.

I just love this cup and the lady next to it. I believe the lady is a Poppytrail! The colors are so pretty and the price was right $1.49 each. You can't get better than that! This next picture is of a Lefton Lamp and an Egg. I think they will look beautiful at Easter time. Hopely I will keep these. I am not sure yet, still thinking about it.

Hope you have a wonderful three day weekend. I am going to try and catch up with my visitors from Tuesday. Don't worry ladies, I will visit everyone. I don't want to miss one tea cup.

Don't forget to let me know if you want to be a part of the give away. I will be ending it on my birthday, September 23rd. This last picture is the plate I am going to give away! Blessings, Martha

Hi Martha, such sweet finds you have stumbled upon.

Sorry to hear about your diabetes. My aunt and Gwen have the same problem. I can't imagine pricking myself every day. I have to turn my head when I need a shot. Hope the classes help you with feeling comfortable with the process. The best thing for sugar problems is walking. In fact, walking daily seems to cure a whole host of ailments.

Sending prayers and good wishes your way. :) Tammy xoxoxox

Martha...i know what you are going thru...when i was in ICU (GBS from flu shot) and came out of coma...the nurses were sticking me 5 x daily. seems the high doses of medication they were giving me, among other things, sent my sugar on a roller coaster...i didn't have diabetes before...but i had it when i woke up...it took weeks, even when i came home, to get BACK 2 NORMAL...but i remember crying and telling them i didn't want to do this...they did give me the PEN version of the needle which made it easier...hang in there sweetie.

It gets better ~ God blesses the people who patiently endure testing. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him...James 1:12
