PRETTY IN PINK!

Noah just notices that the razor she is using is pink. He knew Pink Saturday was coming up, but thought this was a little over the top, even for Grandma!

Noah and Mom are watching a Disney video, because the hair cut is taking too long!

Watch my ears, lady!

Mickey Mouse is always fun while getting a cut!

Ok! Make it fast!

Waiting his turn in line!

It is Pink Saturday again, yeah! I love to take pictures of pretty pink things. These are some items I have in the master bathroom. I did not take the pictures in the room because of all the mirrors, reflections were everywhere. The rings on the hand are all vintage costume. I think I may sell those, now that I take a good look at them. I think I have them long enough. The pink tray that the items are sitting on is Mikasa, pink roses! So pretty, I should have taken a better picture. Thank you, Beverly, for hosting this fun event. Please visit her at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/. While you are visiting site, take a look at
Natasha's blog at http://natashaburns.blogspot.com/. She is my famous friend from Australia. She is the nicest lady you would want to meet and so talented! She just had a birthday!
I spent the day with Noah and his Mama today. He was getting his hair cut. I wish I could get my hair cut on a horse, have books read to me and watch a video at the same time. That is the life! He is getting ready for his big day. He knows he is going to pick the winner of the give away and wants to look good. Remember, Noah, picks the winner at the end of the month and all you have to do is leave a comment.

HE DOES'T LIKE CHICKENS!

My husband does not mind using pink towels, laying under pink floral quilts or having jewelry attached to everything he sees. Give him chickens and it creeps him out! What I am showing you is a very small collection of chickens I own. I love the cute little way they look. In order to honor the man, I keep my chickens in the kitchen and only have a small amount. He does not complain about anything else, so I need to make him happy. He is o.k. with just a little bit. I have Fenton chickens, and old vintage ones. I can only have a little out at a time. So the ones I have pictured are what is out now. When I switch my kitchen around again, I will show you more. Do any of you have husbands with weird little things they don't like?

I am trying to post every other day. I use the other day to read everything you have to say. I just can't keep up with everything you are doing unless I do that! I don't want to miss a thing. Did you see that Gone with the Wind Party? It was so cute. If you get a chance, go see Sares in her beautiful blue gown. She is at http://loveleightreasures.blogspot.com/. She looks so much like Scarlett, you would think they were twins, no kidding!

Don't forget my give away at the end of the month. All you have to do is make a comment and Noah will pick his favorite out of a bowl. He cannot read yet so don't worry, he will be fair! At least his is not saying he can read! LOL!

BUSY WEEKEND WITH LOTS OF FUN, WORK AND FAMILY!

Kyle and Noah

Maya and me!

Kyle and his proud Dad!
My tired son!

This three day weekend seem to just fly by. My son, Kyle, had a Marathon Run at Disneyland. It was his first. We had to leave our home at 4:30 am, in order to get there by 6 am. When we got there, we had a long walk to watch the race. Kyle did very well, but he was so tired. The family all had lunch together and then came home to sleep. I did get to kiss my Granddaughter, Maya, and little Noah. That is always the highlight of the day. I have also been spending time rearranging my living and dining room. That is always a 3 day task.

I was not planning to do it this week end, however, my husband, bless his little heart, he thought he could move a china cabinet, without emptying it. It was the cabinet I stored my green china items. (I have my china cabinets arranged by color.) Needless to say I lost a few pieces. He felt very bad. I guess he just thought there would not be a problem. I lost several Beelek pieces that made me sad. I have to admit, you really cannot tell I lost anything once everything was back together. Thank God for serial collecting, that's what I say! Think of the sadness I would have had if that was all I owned. I was treated very special all day after that little accident! So, in the end it had it's perks!
Don't forget, I have a give away at the end of the month! All you have to do is leave a comment and Noah will do the picking!
