CROWNS & TIARAS!

I found a new passion, Crowns & Tiaras! I just purchased this new book called "Crowns & Tiaras" by Kerri Judd and I love it. If you get a chance to pick one up, do it, you won't regret it. I feeling like making a crown for every one! I told my husband I am going to wear a crown everyday. I will wear a crown as I clean bathrooms, as I mop floors, just me and my crowns! Wouldn't that be so much fun?

I took some pictures of a few of my favorite ladies around the house for you to see. Aren't they so much fun to collect? Also included is a scrapbook page of me wearing a crown. I always put my funnest picture as the first page on every scrapbook I make. The one for my sister's book is a Halloween picture of me as Cruella Deville. I was so sick that day, I had phenomena. I just could not miss Halloween night. Some kids never grow up.

Last but not least is my Noah, sound asleep and just after a nap. This grandma doesn't love him. Oh no! I just think he is perfect and have to tell the world!

SCRAPBOOKING FUN WITH FRIENDS!

Tuesday is a day I look forward to each week. My two dearest friends and I get together to scrapbook, have dinner together and just laugh or cry depending on what is going on with us. It is wonderful to know that you have life long friends that you can share everything with, the good, the bad and the ugly. I just would not trade it for the world. We went to "Once Upon a Page", a scrapbook store, today to scrap there. As always great fun, but you know what can happen when you have a whole store at your finger tips, that's right you buy! I fought the good fight, but at last I lost and spend money on things, I just could not live without. I did finish a layout. The page is part of the book I am making for my sister, Nora, for Christmas. I took a picture of it for you to see. I have also included a few pictures of Noah. His mother told me, Monday, he could read. She wrote the word "hugs" on a paper and of course the child genius read hugs. However, every word he sees also reads "hugs". It is so much fun to see her being a mom. Now she is learning how much fun and how hard it is. He does not need to do anything to be loved by me!

I'VE BEEN THINKING - DANGEROUS I KNOW!

This week has been full of deep thoughts. It has been raining off and on here in L.A., which is miserable for my knees. I have so much trouble walking in weather like this. On the good side, my plants look like they are literally lifting their branches, leaves and flowers to the Lord, thanking Him for the rain. It is beautiful to see, if you look. Have you taken the time to see your plants, thank the Lord? Watch carefully, you'll see it. I spent a lot of time in my garden. I do that when I think, I feel closer to God there. I feel Him walking with me in the garden and it's good. Here are a few pictures of what I saw on my walk.
