AUTUMN COLORS HAVE HIT MY HOME!

I am now in the process of just doing the finishing touches on my autumn decorations, yeah! At long last, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have some pictures of some of the changes. I am not really an orange person but love the colors in autumn. My entire house gets transformed. I got a good picture of my mantel. It is so hard to photograph. Did I ever tell you I collect vintage pictures of pretty sayings? Photographed one, will post others for you to see soon.

These damp days have force me to stay inside my home. So, I changed the bedding, put up autumn curtains and I am almost finished with Maya's crown. (Will show you at soon as it is done.) I am just a working machine these days. Feeling very together, which is rare for me. I am a project woman, I always have something, I am working on. Because of this, I feel like I am always behind. They are projects of my own making, too. None of them really need to be done, I don't need anything, I just have to do it. Do any of you do this? What is it? Are we driven to drive ourselves mad? I am just sick and finally realizing it? Scary!

Hope you are having a wonderful week. Please say an extra little prayer for Andrew. From reading her blog, it looks like he has had a little set back! Blessings my friends, Martha

GONE BATTY!

Can you believe I got lost in my own neighborhood this weekend? I was looking for an estate sale, all I found was deers! Just when you think you have traveled every road in your area, you find a new one. I went up and down this street until I was calling the deers by their first names! I am so a City Gal, I had to show you the deer pictures! (Like you have never seen a deer! Duh!) I felt like I was going Batty!

Never did find that sale, I did, however, find an estate sale when I was not looking. Don't you love it when that happens? The pictures are of some of the treasures I purchased. The rose plate has such beautiful colors. The pinks and the greens are creamy. I think that is my favorite combination of colors. I will probably use it again for Pink Saturday, I love it so much.

Are you liking the cool weather? I am loving the cooler weather, however, it makes me feel like the Tin Man. It feels like all my joints need to be oiled. That is how most of my winter months feel like. I need to get use to it, all over. One good thing, I don't need to water outside as much! I usually do that in the morning, which in the damp months, are my worst time. Just call me the Tin Man!

I had Noah today, look at his feet and mine. We are both flat footed! Thought that would give you a laugh! Hope all is well with you wonderful ladies! Blessings, Martha

PINK SATURDAY! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME PS RERUNS?

So sorry about that, but I have been trying to decorate my home for Halloween and it got out of control. I have taken down all the summer things and I am still not finish and then bring out bins and bins of Halloween things. It's a mess, but don't you just love it? My husband has been feeling extra romantic so that puts a kink in the time line, a good one of course. He wants to be with me, so even my shopping has had a to take a back seat.

So, with a little luck you won't remember these things. Think of it as a form of recycling! I have a few new pray request I will try to post later to day. I have Noah, today so I must get moving. Blessings, Martha
