CELEBRATING WITH AMERICA AND TEAL CUPS!

Hello Tea Cup Lovers! Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 60. It is an amazing day today. Last night we learned Bin Laden is dead. I am so glad they finally caught him. He always was a fear in the back of my mind. It is also weird to know that this man, today is burning in hell. As a Christian, we don't want anyone to go there. As a simple woman who recognizes evil, I am glad he is dead. It is wonderful to see that justice has been served. How profound to live in a moment that my grandchildren will be studying in history! America is wonderful place to live.

We have a winner to announce today! I bet you thought I forgot. Noah was over and he picked a winner from the hat . . . Drummer roll please! The winner is Donna from http://conghailecottage.blogspot.com/. She is a wonderful lady that lives in a dream house. Everything she does is so beautiful. If you have not met her, please stop by. It is worth the visit. Tell she won, please!

On to the tea cups! The first tea cup you will see is a Crown Staffordshire. This beautiful teal cup is decorated in gold roses. Teal and pink are the colors I am using this month for my home decor.

Cup number 2 is a Queen Anne of England. Love the pretty teal daisies.

This next tea cup is a Haviland, Limoges. I know I say this a lot, but this is one of my favorite tea cups. I love the feel of the cup and just look at the handle. Stunning! That's it! Just stunning! I know I have shown this one to you before, but it is worth a second look, don't you think?

You may have noticed I have been very slow at visiting you this past week. Some of you ladies just got a visit yesterday. I am so sorry. This is my story. I have been under the weather, I had Noah for 3 days (need I say more?), I have been working on the NBC show thing (tell you later) and working on my yard. (I am the crazy woman who will move whole trees if needed and 3 trees needed it badly this week.) That's my story and I am sticking to it! I will do better visiting this week. I do read every comment, always. Thank you for your concern. I got a lot of emails from ladies who were worried about me. When you are a creature of habit, things are noticed when you go missing. I do have the best followers in all of blogland.

Like the tea pot? It is Bavarian and very old. I wish I had the creamer to it.

This is my last cup for this week. I wasn't going to show it to you, but how could I not show you this beauty. It is gorgeous! It is a Colclough, of England.

Here is Mr. Linky. You know what to do, anything tea cup related. Don't forget to visit Terri, the brains in the family! Hugs, Martha

P.S. I have learned to list on my web site. It will be open for business at the end of the month! Yeah!

  11. Congratulations to Donna ! Martha, I am watching a news station recount the events that led up to 911 and finally culminating in the wonderful news we received May Day, yes, I am glad a wicked and evil man such as BL is no longer alive on this earth and facing God, the ultimate judge of us all.

Love the turquoise and blue colors of todays post. All the china cups are soooooo charming. I am very fond of turquoise, too. Thank you for hosting this sweet event, which I always love to join in.

  17. Martha, to me there is not much prettier than pink. That is except for TEAL!!! Oh wow! You have such a stunning selection/collection of teal cups. It's really hard to get me to swoon over something that isn't pink, but bring in the fainting couch, here I go. Hee hee. Really beautiful post.
