THE BEGINNING OF HOLY WEEK

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 265.  Hope you are doing great.  It is Sunday night and I have just finished watching the  season finale of the Walking Dead.  Yes, I am a big fan.  I am so sure that you ladies are not, but I just had to confess, this finale had me yelling at the television.  My best friend's son works on the special effects for that show, but that is just an excuse I use to watch it.  I scare easy, but for some reason, this show does not scare me in the least! It was a great season ending!

I will continue to share the purple cups this week.  The violets are so perfect for this time of year.  This first cup is a vintage demitasse Limoges.  It is so delicate, it feels like I can crush it with my hand.

Cup number two is a cup made in England.  Love the basket design on this one.

The last cup has no marks at all.  I have had it for years, so many, I can't remember where I purchased it.   Look at the handle on this cup.  The fish sign, perfect for Easter!

Can you believe next week is Easter?  I have to get my act together. Easter Dinner is coming up and I am not ready at all.  I have been in my yard adding flowers all week. It is my favorite thing to do.  It is true, what is said, "we were made for the Garden."  Have a wonderful week.  Thank you for your faithfulness to this tea party.

Hugs, Martha

  1. Hi Martha, I love your violet teacups, but my favorite is the first demitasse Limgoes. I agree the thinness of the porcelain is amazing. Glad you found a tv series you enjoy. I haven't seen Walking Dead but I know it has a huge fan base. Have a wonderful Easter with your family!

  12. Hi Martha,

I'm a fan of Walking Dead too! I'm very squeemish so I just avert my eyes during the gruesome scenes. Heh. But I haven't seen this season yet. I don't have the specialty cable channels so I have wait until the season is released on dvd and then I can binge watch it! Hee!

As usual, I'm loving your purple teacups. And the unmarked cup with the fish handle is perfect for Easter!

    Have a wonderful Easter!
