TEA CUPS, NEW COLLECTIONS AND A GROW YOUR BLOG PARTY!

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 256!  Hope you have had a wonderful week.  I am also joining the "Grow Your Blog 2015" this week.  Hoping to add some ladies to our Tea Party and make new friends.  I always love to look at other ladies tea cups and  of course their homes.

I am going to be sharing black and white tea cups this week, but before I do, I must share my new Royal Doulton collection.   I had never owned any because the price was just too high for my taste.  This week I hit the Jacket Pot! I picked these up for $14 dollars, unbelievable, I know! Each one more beautiful that the last.  As you know I have always loved the lady figurines.  It felt like Christmas!

Ok, on to the tea cups.  My first cup is this Royal Stafford, black beauty.  Very simple and oh so elegant!  Just a tiny red rose to decorate the cup.

My next cup is this amazing Foley from England.  The pattern name is "Florence."  Stunning isn't it?

I have been trying to do my first link alone, so far no luck.  I will keep trying. I don't want to not post, until I have success, please just leave a comment so I can visit. (I miss Terri!)  I have a couple of fun pictures of the grandchildren.  Noah has been very sick all month.  Please pray for him.  Like his Grandma, he just can't get over this cold.

Have a wonderful day.  Looking forwarding to visiting everyone this week. Hugs, Martha

  1. Hi Martha,
You have some beautiful figurines. I love the Foley teacup with all the roses. We are in the middle of a blizzard right now and so far so good, we still have our power. Hope your little guy feels better soon.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

What luck with the figurines!! I have one that my Mom gave me, which she used to collect. Your teacups are stunning, as always. I hope you get over your cold.

  7. Hi Martha,
What amazing Royal Doulton finds! I love the last two. They are usually so pricey. Your black and white teacups are making me swoon. Simply Gorgeous! I miss Terri too! Hope your grandson gets well soon. My son is over his pneumonia but now my daughter has the stomach flu. I can't wait for spring! Happy Tea Day Sweet Friend! Karen

  8. As usual your teacups are beautiful, but the grandkids are the treasure here. I hope you're both on the mend now...being sick for more than a few days is no fun.

I already miss Terri too, and am thankful you're willing to keep up the teacup posts.

  12. Beautiful teacups! So sorry about the trouble with the linky. I hope you can figure it out. I hope that Noah will be better soon. So much illness this winter.

  14. Your collections are gorgeous Martha. I have always wanted to collect the crinoline ladies but there have always been too many children around for me to take the first step. Nowadays the Royal Doulton figurines have dropped in value, presumably because they are a bit out of fashion but that will change, I'm sure.
I love your tea cups, so very pretty. Greetings from England.

  17. Oh my, Martha! What a bargain giving those lovely ladies a new home for so little! I have a post coming up with a host of RD Ladies that I own on film only. Found them displayed at an antique show and didn't have the extra $600 hanging around to bring them home. They are stunning! I own only one--with my name spelled the way I spell it. Your teacups are lovely but for me, the ladies steal the show this week!

I'm sorry you can't get the linky to work. What is the problem? Perhaps someone can give you a step by step tutorial. That's how I learned to do my All Things Bright and Beautiful monthly linky (this week, in fact) but, honestly, I'm not sure if I remember ALL the ins and outs of establishing the account. But, it's pretty easy once you have the account.

Bless you--why not link in with me this week. You always have bright and beautiful things to share. http://www.thewritersreverie.com/2015/01/all-things-bright-beautiful-link-up-8.html

    Joy!
