MORE TEA CUP TREASURES!

Hello Ladies! Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 33! It is time again to share those tea cups. I have read that some of you are taking them out of storage just to join us, others are buying some to play. Tea Cup Tuesday is just of wonderful time with friends. I have made the best of friends through this party. Who would have thought God could use tea cups to minister to one another? I have to say, some of my dearest friends are ladies I have meant through blogging! So take time to visit one another, you never know when you will find a best friend.

I have spent the weekend, putting things away in my "pink" craft room. I love how it is coming along. I will show you more pictures on Friday. Right know, on to the tea cups!

The first cup today is a Paragon. They are famous for the beautiful center design. This one is a lovely mint green with a broken loop handle and a thumb rest. It has a beautiful Adelaide shape. This cup is this week's favorite!

Cup number 2 is a vintage Coalport. It was made somewhere between 1891 and 1920. It is a bouillon cup in the Indian Tree pattern. It too is a Adelaide shape with a broken loop handle and thumb rest.

My last cup this week is made by Syracuse China in New York. This cup was made in 1944. The colors real fit that era. The cup style is Chelsea shape with a broken loop handle. For some reason, it reminds me of my Grandma, not sure way.

On the very top is a pair of Bavarian tea pots recently purchased at the thrift store for $6.00. I really scored that day. I even found two Weiss, vintage necklace for $4.00. I love it when that happens. I get all excited and can't wait to look at my treasures at home.

Not sure if Terri is going to post this week, she is in England. It is a tuff life, but someone has to live it! Hope you are having a great time, Terri! I know this is a short post for me, but I have to finish my craft room. You know what to do with Mr. Linky. Remember you are special to the Lord and to me! Blessings, Martha

Your pumpkin with the blanket stitching is really cute - did you sew it?

  17. I agree with your words about blogging friends. There is so much good about blogging, and when you need a vast support of prayer warriors, blogging friends rally!

I like your Paragon tea cup very much. I don't think I have ever seen a "bouillon" cup and saucer, very interesting. You have so many very beautiful and interesting tea cups Martha, and I always learn a little bit more about teacups from you.

  26. Hi, sweet Martha. I didn't get a chance to do a tea party today. My son didnt' get a chance to take my photo for me (sniff, sniff), so I'm just visiting this week.

Yes, I, too, would choose the Paragon as my favorite of your showings this week. I love the colors of it (I'm a pink/green gal). I have one teacup in a style like that, where it's decorated only on the inside, and the outside has the gold band.

The second teacup with the two handles...how totally unique. I have never seen a teacup like that before.

How exciting about your thrift store finds. I love it when that happens.

    Hope all is going well.

    Love you!!

    Patti

  28. Hello there sweet lady,

    Happy 33rd Teacup Tuesday!

I have 'a tear in my heart' however dear Martha, as just yesterday around 5pm we watched our dear neighbors house, (two doors down), burn to the ground practically; they were at work, when a wonderful imedieate neighbor of ours, saw smoke and flames and called 911!

~ (The folks were then apparently called; the dog was saved, the cat hads not been found)! Please pray for them and for our community as we endeavor to rally around and help them as best we can!.., We are kind of in shock!

Thankfully, other than their precious pet cat, no human lives were lost!

I just love your Paragon tea cup especially.., So lovely; the colors and motif are exquisite!

You know that you are also always most warmly welcome to pop by for a tea visit in my little corner of, 'Tuesday And Wednesday Teatime In Blogland' anytime!

~ The tea kettle is always at the ready!

..,(This week has marked my 53rd, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', blog teaparty, my 44th, 'Wednesday Tea For You And You And Me')..,

~ Also with dear Pam, (of http://breathoffreshair-paperbutterfly.blogspot.com );she and I have celebrated our 25th, 'Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday'..,

    Fun!

~ I guess you could truly say; 'I love Afternoon Tea' and most of all sharing the experience with my fellow bloggers!

..,Please do come by next week also Martha and we'll delight once again in sharing yet another lovely a cup of tea!..,

Thanks for joining us last week!
    Have a marvelous week!

Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee

  29. Once we move I plan to participate more in all the fun memes here. I have lots of tea cups and tea pots. Now I need to share their beauty with my sweet friends. I could use lots of prayer Martha. Housing woes, car woes and work place hatefulness to name the top three! I think God is trying to teach me a new lesson. I want to learn quickly so all those awful stuff goes away! I always love stopping here and I am so behind visiting everyone. I love all your pretty treasures here. Thanks for sharing. Blessings Anne

  35. A religious style of music that like a deep meditation prayer where you just sit and sing the same melody over and over it meant to get you into a trance state my dad used to listen a lot to that style of music. So that influenced me from an early age, he told Dazed. Just mixed my Urdu speaking with lyrics I was writing down in English and that what I came up with.

The good: Pretty simple really: you get paid to motorcycle t shirts fly around the world. Today you're in Tokyo, tomorrow you're in LA, the next day you're in Honolulu. You also work with a team of people similar in age who all get dumped in the same foreign land minion t shirt as you day of the shirt.
