ENDING SUMMER WITH SOME TEA CUPS!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 317.   Sorry about last week, my grandchildren spent the night and decided to make all kinds of forts and sleeping areas around the bed. To make a long story short, I went sailing across the room, right into my desk.  I didn't poke my eye out because, well,  I must be learning to fall.  (Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?)  It would have been very funny, if I was able to move.  See that pretty face in the picture? That's Sophia, she starts school tomorrow.  I am very proud but a little sad at the same time.  Where does the time go?  All three of them start school this week, summer is officially over. They are excited about there new adventure.

I am sharing this pretty "English Chintz," Queen China tea cup today.  I always have had a soft spot for Chintz.  Don't you just love the porcelain brooch?  It is a favorite as well.

This next cup is an RS Prussia.  You can't see it in the pictures, but it has a pearl like finish.  It is so very pretty in person.  The pictures do not do it justice.

Thank you for your faithfulness to this little blog.  Please feel free to share anything pretty you want us to see.  I would also like you to included our friend Terri in your prayers.  She has been having a rough time physically.    Here are some of the parties I will be joining this week:

Teatime Tuesday - Tuesday Cuppa Tea - Friends Sharing Tea - Share Your Cup Thursday - Inspire Me Monday- No Place Like Home - Share Your Cup Thursday at Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olsen - The Charm of a Home - Tea in Texas - Thelma's Days - Bella's Rosas Antiques - Friends Sharing Tea at Bernideen's Tea Time Blog

DEPRESSION TEA CUPS FOR THE PARTY!

Hi Ladies!  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 316!  Hope you have all had a great week and have managed to stay cool in this hot weather.  My mother is still sick, I would appreciate your continued prayers.  Not sure about pictures today, my son up dated the program and of course, I am having trouble learning all the new stuff.  This post just might be very short because of it.

I want to share some depression glass cups.  I have always loved depression glass, unfortunately I don't own a lot.  I will start with this common peach color cup.  It is a pebble design.

This next cup is Blue Bubble, it is part of a service for 20.   Always have love this set!  I recently gifted it to my nephew who holds large parties at his home regularly.

Everyone has at least one green cup, it seems that this is one that is easily available.  I have a few of these because they are perfect at Christmas time.

This is a lovely yellow color.  I have other colors, but I have been at this over 3 hours.  My back has had enough.  I really have to learn this new program.  Here are some of the parties I am joining.  Please feel free to post anything lovely.  I love to look!  Hugs, Martha
