HAPPY TEA CUP TUESDAY!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 315!  Have you notice Terri has been joining us these last few weeks?  This tea party started as Martha and Terri's Tea Cup Tuesday and I am so happy to have her back when she can.  She is such a dear lady. I love her so.

I live near the Sand Fire, that has been in the news. so things have been "hot, cloudy, with chances of a lot of ash."   It looks like it is snowing ash at my house. We are far enough away that we are not threaten, but close friends have.  Please say a little prayer for us.  The temperatures have been in the high 90's, just awful for the fire fighters.  My mother has also been very sick.  I hate to see my Mama sick. She looks so little and fragile.  Please keep her in your prayers.

The cups I am sharing today are first this Castletown, USA.  I own the complete set with the Teapot.  Very sweet cup!

The next cup is this all gold, Bavarian from Germany.  It is so elegant.

Do hope you are all doing well.  Trying to stay cool during this very hot summer.  Here are the parties I will be joining this week:

Teatime Tuesday - Tuesday Cuppa Tea - Friends Sharing Tea - Share Your Cup Thursday - Inspire Me Monday- No Place Like Home - Share Your Cup Thursday at Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olsen - The Charm of a Home - Tea in Texas - Thelma's Days - Bella's Rosas Antiques - Friends Sharing Tea at Bernideen's Tea Time Blog

Have a wonderful week.  Blessings, Martha

  1. Dear Martha:
I will come back and join you later in the week. Also, praying for your Mother and about the fires. We need the Lord's help. Your tea set is so pretty and especially the tea pot.

  2. I'm glad the fire is far away from you, but sad for your friends. I hope they do keep safe.
I know, my mother has not been so great lately. I will pray tomorrow with my Rosary friends for your mom and so that fire stops dear Martha.
    Thank you for the inspiration.
    Have a blessed week.

  5. Dear Martha, Your Castleton china is beautiful and special that it's made in the USA. Love the gold teacup too. I'm in awe that this is your 315th Teacup Tuesday. I can't imagine having that many teacups, and yours are all so unique and beautiful. I've been sorting through totes today trying to organize my teacups and trios. I didn't count them, but I know it's no where near 315! Stay safe, and I pray for your mom's health. ~ Phyllis

  7. Oh my dear Martha, thankfully you are away from the awful fires, but still you have repercussions from the effects. Prayers are with your mom and her health, my friend. With all that is going on, you still shared such pretty tea pieces for us to enjoy. Thank you for your lovely tea party, and yes, we are thankful for Terri to join us. Hugs are sent to you!

  8. Hi Martha,
It sounds so very hot there and your poor mom must find it too warm. I pray that she improves daily. Love your teacups as always. Thank you for hosting. Blessings, Karen

  9. I'm glad to read that the fire is not too close. Last year we had a lot of ash from fires up island, and while we were relieved not to be threatened, it was a real mess, and hard for those with breathing problems.
    I love your gold teacup!

  14. Hi Martha, so glad you could join DI&DI. Sorry to hear about the fire and your Mom's health.
fires are so deadly and scary . Both of my sons lived in the area where the lake fire was. Luckily their house survived and they were all ok. Your china is lovely. I always admire such beautiful china and tea cups. Hope your weekend is good.
