THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS!

Hello Ladies!  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 292!   Hoping your Christmas was wonderful. I feel like we have had a Christmas Miracle.  My son has been doing so good, each day better than the last. You pray for a miracle, but when you get it, it is almost more than you can handle.  That is how I feel right now.  Needless to say this was the best Christmas I have ever had.

Now it is time to face reality and take down the Christmas decorations, it is always a little sad to me.  Normally, I have everything down by New Year's Day.  This year,  I am not going to be in a big rush. I have learned a few hard lessons recently, most importantly, focus on what the real meaning of Christmas is.   I am so thankful for what He has done for our family.  My son should have died and yet, today he is enjoying time with his best friend. God is so good.

I am sharing my Christmas mugs.  I love to have them out all month long.  It is so fun to watch loved ones picking their mug each time.

I am also sharing a Christmas Poinsettia Tea Cup by Royal Patrician of England.

Thank you for being so faithful to this blog, even when I have not been able to share.  I have learned so much about you this year as well.  Have a wonderful week.  Be careful and Happy New Year!  Martha

A CUP OF CHRISTMAS TEA!

Hello ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 291! It is Monday night and I am running a little late in posting.

Well, we are down to the last few days, some how everything gets done.  I only have a handful of presents left to wrap and another Christmas is behind me. This was an awful year for our family. However, as we gathered yesterday for our annual cookie baking, there was a sense that this year more than ever, our family knew we had what was really important to us, each other.  I watched as my son is slowly was getting back to normal, his cousins so happy just to have him there.  The true meaning of Christmas has become so real for us this year.  My prayer is that you too can gather with family and friends and remember what is really important.

You have helped me through one of the hardest year I have ever had.  If I could I would grant you each your hearts' desires, you know I would.  The only one who can is Jesus, He is my only hope. May He give you His peace this Christmas.   Hugs,  Martha

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Hello Ladies:  Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 290!  Has your week been as wild as mine? Started my decorating, very late and I am still at it.    Grandchildren's programs, Church programs, and Gingerbread houses were part of this week's festivities. Hosting our Annual Christmas Tea at my home on Friday. Christmas shopping and wrapping gifts are a priority for me  this week. I get tired just thinking about it.

I love this time of year and I am so grateful for my family, my son's continued improvement and for my blogland friends.  Still so many more celebrations before the big day.  I feel so grateful for everything and everyone.

This is a picture of my two beautiful daughters. Sharing a tea cup by Mikasa and some holiday decorations..  Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Hope you are having a wonderful week.
Here are a few of my favorites parties as well as this week's link.
Hugs, Martha

WELCOME TO TEA CUP TUESDAY NO. 289!

Hello Ladies: It feels so good to be here this week. I have been living a nightmare.  My son is home from the hospital again and improving daily.  He lost a great deal of weight, but is slowly gaining it back.  He went on a 1/2 cup a day rice diet for over 2 months.  His thoughts were no longer clear because of it.  People with PTSD can suffer so badly.  I am grateful that he did not turn to drugs or other things that could have made things so much worse.  I want to let you know that God has been faithful to our family. I felt that I need to give you this explanation because I have been so undependable lately.  I am so thankful to each of you for your encouragement to me. Your prayers helped me get through each day.  Emails  always came at just the right time. Consider yourself hugged!

Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 289!  Did you notice Terri has been posting?  I have never met Terri in person, but I love her like a sister.  She is a constant for me and I am so thankful she has been able to post.  My post will be short this week, because I am so behind on everything.  I needed you and wanted you to know that you are an amazing group of women!  I am sharing  a Spode Tea Cup, because they are so perfect for this time of year.  To me, the Christmas Tree always reminds me of the Cross, something I am forever grateful for.

Have a wonderful week. Once again, THANK YOU! Sending hugs your way.  Here is today's link:
