HEAT, HUGE PUMPKINS & TEA CUPS

Hello Ladies and welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday No. 230!  Summer is upon us but the weather has been crazy.  California has been hot.  My Son had his first helicopter drop into a fire this past week.  Not sure how he is doing,  but I know he is in God's hands.  Our dear friend Terri and her son are still quite ill.  Terri did say she was feeling a little improvement.  She is very grateful for all your prayers.   My heart has been very heavy about my friend.  Please keep them both in prayers.

It seems like the summer is flying by and soon the children will be back in school and my time with them will again be limited.  The children love to come to Grandma's and garden.  We are growing those giant pumpkins. This is my first time.  I hope they grow for my children's sake.  If you have any suggestions to keep them growing, let me know.  Here they are playing in the mud at their home.  Remember doing that? I do! We we also a visited The La Brea Tar Pits this week.  Each photo taken, had someone's hand covering my face.

My first tea cup today is my favorite Haviland, Limoges.  It is a rather large cup and looks like a piece of lace on pink porcelain.

The next cup is a Lefton.  It too, is a pale pink, it was a gift from my best friend.  Love pedestal cups, they always looks so dainty.

Last cup this week is simply marked Bone China, 22KT gold trimmed, England.  I love the ruffle design on top.

Hope you are having the best summer. Can't wait to see what you will share this week.  Hugs, Martha

  1. Once again Martha your cups are beautiful. I particularly like the Lefton pedestal cup, it is so pretty.
Our kids have a week left of the mid year holidays and apart from a birthday party at the weekend I haven't seen them. They have been much too busy with their friends. Your grandchildren have had some really fun days out with you and it looks like you've all enjoyed it.

    blessings,
    Diana
